千葉県幕張で開幕した「東京ゲームショウ」。
有名なゲーム機メーカが参加しする、世界最大のコンピュタゲーム機展示会。
この業界、毎年、世界でその市場を拡大し続けており、今年は特に、「E-スポーツ（エレクトロ・スポーツ）」に関心が深まっている。
巨大な輸出産業目指し、世界のゲーム機メーカも参加。

最近は、家の中や、狭い空間での「ゲーム（遊び）」から、観衆もいる「（勝敗を争う）スポーツ」に「進化」している。
身体を動かさずに、じっと座っていて、「何がスポーツやねん」との「偏見」は、古い？
肉体は動かさないが、頭は働かす？

この前のインドネシアでの「アジア競技大会」では、「公開競技」として開催、2022年の中国・杭州大会で同大会では「正式種目」に決まっている。
そのうちに、オリンピックの種目にも、、、。

「100才以上なら、授業料は無料」と、花園大学（京都府）の”入試要綱”。
50歳以上の人の入学者に、授業料を安くし、大学の門を広くする。
「社会人入学」と「学士入学」の試験の合格者に適用。
60歳なら60％免除、70歳なら70％免除というふうに、授業料「バーゲン」。

・・・・・・どちらも、毎年、一桁の受験者数なので、、、が、その理由？
多くの向学心旺盛な高齢者に、学ぶための「ハードル」を低くして「入学者を増やしたい」。
「その言や良し」である。
この大学のモットー：”自分が変われば　世界が変わる”。

自然豊かな、この日本に、恐ろしい自然災害が次々と、、。
洪水、台風、そして、記録破りの酷暑。
自然災害に弱い日本と言われながらも、この2018年は「破壊的で、恐ろしい」夏だ。

・6月18日朝、大阪北部に、M6.1の地震。
　ブロック塀の倒壊による死者が出るなど、老朽家屋などの点検や改修に拍車。
・異常な豪雨で、広島県等で221人の死者。
　土砂崩れなどで中国地方で、今もなお、1,500人を越すひとが避難所に。
・長引く酷暑で、少なくとも116人の死者。
　6月23日には、埼玉県で41.1度を超す記録的な高温を記録。
・台風21号で、24時間空港の関西空港が「閉鎖に」。
　タンカ－が、空港への唯一の「陸路」を破損したため。
・北海道に,Ⅿ7の地震。
　山崩れ、道路の切断、停電などで、一時は北海道が「陸の孤島？」に。

こういう古都なら 鹿たない

京都より古い「古都・奈良」。
4本脚の鹿も、二本足の人も「増えすぎて、困った」と、奈良市が頭を悩ましている。
二本足は、増える外国人観光客、、、、ともに、安全と健康のため。

先月（7月）では、1955（昭和30）年の調査以来最多の、1,360頭の鹿を記録。
調査開始の同年は、378頭だった。
その後、急激に増えたり、市の「コントロール」もあり、「順調に」増加してきた。
そのため、最近は、近隣住民との「接触事故」や「車との交通事故」防止のため市は、「努力中」。

一方、観光客数はこの7月に、1,630万人となり、2016年の年間1,550万人を超えた。
この数、「遷都1300年」記念の年、2010年の過去の1,800万人に迫る勢い。
御多聞にもれず、ここでも、中国などのアジア圏から観光客が増加。

Nara steps up efforts to deal with record numbers of deer and tourists
　It’s getting ever more crowded in the ancient capital of Nara as record numbers of two-legged visitors encounter record numbers of four-legged residents, creating concerns about the health and safety of both groups.

Last month, a survey by the Nara Deer Preservation Foundation, which looks after the deer, showed there were 1,360 in the Nara Park area. It was the largest number recorded since the foundation began counting deer in 1955.

The rise follows jumps in Nara’s tourism. In late July, Nara officials announced that over 16.3 million people had visited in 2017, compared with 15.5 million in 2016.

警察から犯人逃亡 弁護士も？

いつもニュースのトップにあった、このニュース、次第に後ろで「放映」。
「富田林」も消えて、今では「大阪」に。
その後、「逃走」した事実より、「いかに」逃走したかが「ニュ‐ス」に。

このニュースを最初に知った時に、面会した弁護士の言葉を聞きたいと思った。
その時の犯人との「密室状態」や「事後対応の状況」が、知らされたのは、数日後のニュース。

・・・・弁護士にも責任あるんちゃうの？

「私から警察に、＜面会終了＞や＜退出を＞、報告しときます」と、容疑者に言われて、「ハイよろしくお願いします」とでも、言って、警察（署）に黙って退室したのかな？

・・・ついに、「巻き添え」の死者まで、でた。
・・・・3,000人の警察官のご苦労に、頭の下がる思いだが、その弁護士さんも（名前もだして）協力したら、犯人探しに？

　　


Osaka fugitive knew guards' shift schedule
A suspect who has been on the run for more than 2 weeks in Osaka Prefecture is found to have kept a memo of which police officers were on guard duty and when.

　30-year-old Junya Hida escaped from Tondabayashi police station on August 12th. He had been charged for theft and assault, and was served a fresh arrest warrant for attempted sexual assault.

The suspect had his eye on a certain officer who was on guard duty once every 3 days, and on the day he fled. Police believe Hida picked that day to escape.

一方で、ドローンの普及。
何とか、早く目的地に、の人間の野望？が、空飛ぶ飛行機で解決するか？
政府は今年中に、2020年代の実用化を目指し、官民共同で工程表つくりを始める。
技術的にも安全性においても、「エンジン全開で」取り組む。
空飛ぶクルマの定義は、今のところ、ヘリコプタとドローンの中間に位置し、垂直に離着陸することとされている。
動力は、バッテリーで、時速100キロから数百キロメートルを見込む。
アメリカなど、外国での開発も急加速、、。

Japan aims high to have flying cars hit the skies in the 2020s
The government is set to draw up a road map for commercializing flying cars by the 2020s in a public-private council later this year, with the aim of engaging in full-throttle discussions on technological development and safety measures for next-generation vehicles.

As of now, there is no clear definition of flying cars, with such vehicles hovering somewhere between helicopters and drones. It is envisaged that flying cars will take off and land vertically with their propellers rotated by battery-powered motors. Blueprints for a variety of flying vehicles are available, with their speeds ranging from 100 kilometers to several hundred kilometers per hour and most employing auto-piloting techniques.

「ひまわり生命」も業界初となる、認知症の前段階に当たる軽度の認知障害にも保障対象にした商品を発表。
すでにＨ．28から同種保険を発売している、太陽生命保険と朝日生命保険のはＨ２８年に、それぞれ、これまでに３８万件、８万件を売り上げている。

Insurers boost dementia insurance as Japan grays
Insurers in Japan are competing to offer a variety of dementia insurance and related services as the country's society rapidly grays.

One in five people among those aged 65 or older, or about 7 million people, are projected to suffer from dementia in 2025, according to an estimate by the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare.

Starting in October, Sompo Japan Nipponkoa Himawari Life Insurance Inc. will provide insurance policies for those diagnosed with early signs of dementia.

日本車の生産 国内よりも中国で

トヨタなどの日本車の生産台数が、今年初めて、日本国内よりも中国内での生産が超える模様。
日米の「貿易戦争」の余波を受けて、７大日本車メーカーが中国内での生産を増やしているため。
本年１月から７月まで、７大日本車メーカーは約２６５万台を中国で生産・販売。
年換算で５％の増加で、１年を通すと５００万台を超す予測。
一方、日本国内での販売は、４９０万台が予測され、米国内は３位にとどまる。
２０１０年代前半は、中国は、日本車生産の「補完的」役割をはたして来たが、ここ５年間で日本車販売は、６０％も増加。
中国は、今や世界一の車生産国になっている。

走りだすと、大きな国は止まれない？

China rises to No. 2 market for Japan autos, surpassing home
China is expected to overtake Japan as a market for Japanese-branded automobiles for the first time this year, with Toyota Motor and other players planning to expand production capacity in the country to limit their exposure to the brewing U.S.-China trade war.

The seven major Japanese automakers sold 2.65 million new vehicles in China between January and July, up 5% on the year, with the full-year total projected to top 5 million. Meanwhile, their sales in Japan are projected to total around 4.9 million. The U.S. will most likely remain their biggest market.

私は僧侶 「死ぬのが怖い」

人生相談：

私は２０歳代の僧侶、仕事として、人の死にかかわり、いつも苦しい思いをしています。
春、秋の「お彼岸」に加え、この夏のお盆の時期に、僧侶として多くの仕事があります。
もちろん、生計をたてるためです。
しかし、なかでも、葬儀にでるたびに、いつも「心が締め付けられ、苦しくなります」。
私の目の前の死体が、ほんの少し前までは、息をしていたと思うと、、。
「死は避けられない」と、分かっていても、、、。

お答えします：

お坊さんからの、この質問に、「からかわれているのか」とも思いましたが、、。
あなたは若く、仕事に熱心で、死に対して哲学的になるのも　わかります。
「いつ、バッテリー（電池）が切れるのか」と、死を恐れていては、人生を楽しむことはできません。
だからこそ、信者の方々に、「どのように生きるか」を教えるのが、仕事ではありませんか。
「死は生の延長です」。

・・・「お盆」も明日まで。この夏も、平和に過ぎてゆけそう.....南無阿弥陀仏　ナムアミダブツ、、、？！




I’m a Buddhist monk, but I’m scared of death
Ｑ：　　I’m a monk in my 20s. Because of my job, I deal with people’s deaths, and I have trouble with it.

We monks make a living by attending many Buddhist events such as Bon in summer and Higan at the spring and autumn equinoxes, on top of funerals. However, I feel suffocated as I attend them, especially funerals.～
