”現在の日本には反米の気運が高まっている” ？

オバマ来日をめぐる日本のメディアの報道ぶりを見ていると、現在の日本には反米の気運が高まっているように思います。

　もっとも、その兆候は以前からありました。従軍慰安婦問題や靖国問題について、オバマ政権が中国や韓国寄りの立場から日本を批判していたので、日本国内ではそれに対する不満の声が強くなっていました。

　反米の傾向は保守派の間でも顕著になっています。親米保守と言われる人たちの間でも、彼らは本来は親米的なのですが、「なぜアメリカは中国や韓国の肩ばかり持つのか」と、アメリカを非難する声が強くなっています。

　また、反米保守の間では、彼らはもともとアメリカに批判的ですから、「アメリカは日本の頭越しに中国と手を結ぼうとしている」といった主張が日常的に行われるようになっています。

これメディアレベルというより、ブログやFBレベルじゃないっすかね。

ネット上の極右レベルでも、しかし、あからさまの反韓は顕著だが、反米まではいかない、というのが私の観察。



いまだに自民党万歳、アメリカ様万歳が大勢を占めるのではないか？

大国が覇権を求める存在である以上、常に衝突の可能性があるということです。これはあくまでも可能性の話であって、実際に戦争が起こるかどうかはまた別の問題です。

　もし仮に米中衝突が起こったとしても、米中は核兵器を持っているので全面戦争に至ることはないでしょう。しかし、尖閣諸島や南シナ海、台湾、あるいは朝鮮半島をめぐる制限戦争の可能性は十分にあります。少なくとも米中間で激しい安全保障競争が行われることは間違いありません。

　奥山氏、ミアシャイマー氏の洞察は面白い。

これは私もそう思うな。

何か成果があったか、というと特になし、呼んだだけ、来ただけ。

尖閣諸島に日米安全保障条約の適用を明言したことに、中国がちょこっと反応してくれたのが、せめても”慰み”か？


　なんていうか、奥さんが、夫にあきれて、なにか、スーと遠い人、というか、赤の他人にみえるようなときがあるんだろうけど、いまの日本は、アメリカに対してそんな感じになりつつあるのではないか？

　もっとも、読売と産経は、まだ、冷めた関係を信じたくないし、信じさせたくないのかもしれないが・・・。

　アヴリル・ラヴィーンの新作ミュージックビデオ「ハローキティ」が人種差別的だと批判され、アヴリル本人がツイッターで反論している。

　3月下旬に日本で撮影された同ビデオは、無表情のアジア系ダンサーを従えたアヴリルが日本の街を歩くという内容で、曲中には「ミンナサイコー、アリガト」「カワイイ、カワイイ」といった日本語を繰り返す箇所がある。こうした内容が、YouTubeで公開されるやいなや、人種差別的だとのバッシングを受けた。

　だが批判に対して、アヴリルはツイッターで「人種差別的？　LOLOLOL!!!（注：爆笑の意）わたしは日本の文化を愛しているわ」と反論。「わたしは日本のファンのことを考えて、このビデオを撮るために東京に行ったのよ。日本では日本のレーベル、日本人の振付師、日本人の監督と仕事をしたわ」と日本へのリスペクトが根底にあることを説明した。

　E!Newsによると、「ハローキティ」のミュージックビデオは公開後、批判を受けて一時削除。ツイッターでも「アヴリルの新曲は、ひどいのか、人種差別的なのか、ひどく人種差別的なのかがイマイチわからない」「アヴリルの新曲MVを観て、生きる気力を失った」「アヴリルの新しいビデオは人種差別的だから観ていられないのか、ひどいから観ていられないのか、どっちだろう」といったコメントが寄せられている。

　岸田文雄外相は２５日の衆院外務委員会で、沖縄県・尖閣諸島の領有権を主張している中国を相手に国際司法裁判所（ＩＣＪ）へ提訴する必要はないとの認識を示した。民主党の玄葉光一郎氏への答弁。

　理由について、岸田氏は「尖閣は歴史的にも国際法上もわが国固有の領土だ。領有権問題は存在しない」と説明。「（提訴は）日本が言い出す話ではない。わが国の有効支配に挑戦しようとしている中国が考えるべき問題だ」と強調した。

　中国が提訴した場合の対応に関し、「仮定の話を申し上げると、さまざまな影響を及ぼすので控えたい。中国に向けられるべき質問だ」と述べた。

Beijing has now signaled that it’s willing to work with a certain subset of Japanese officials: those who have proven friendly towards China. Indeed, the recent interactions with Japanese officials (mostly retired) has largely been limited to those seen as “pro-China,” including former Prime Minister Yasuo Fukuda and former Foreign Minister Yohei Kono. Masuzoe himself is also seen as friendly towards China. By granting these figures diplomatic privileges denied to Abe and his allies, China may be hoping to undermine support for Abe within Japan.

In other words, Masuzoe’s visit to Beijing is not a sign that China is willing to mend ties with Abe ― just the opposite, in fact. The recent signs of cooperation between China and Japan reveal that Beijing is limiting its interactions with Japanese politicians to those perceived as “pro-China” or at least in favor of friendly ties with China. Abe is definitely not on that list.

How Japan’s prime minister is shaking things up

President Obama has reiterated his commitment to America’s security agreement with Japan, albeit while sticking as much as possible to dry, diplomatic language.

“Territories under the administration of Japan are covered under the treaty,” he said. “There's no shift in position, no red line; we're simply applying the treaty.”

If there’s apprehension in that statement, it is because Japan’s conservative Prime Minister, Shinzo Abe, has upended the commitment to pacifism that has defined post-World War II Japan.

Among Prime Minister Abe’s affronts, according to his detractors: Visiting a memorial to Japanese war dead, among whom are convicted war criminals; refusing to apologize for Japan’s use of sex slaves in wartime China and South Korea; and a commitment to rewrite Japan’s constitution, which places great limits on the country’s military.

“It would be a profound mistake to continue to see escalation around this issue rather than dialogue and confidence-building measures between Japan and China,” President Obama said, standing alongside Prime Minister Abe.

　日本では、尖閣問題では、型通りに従来のアメリカの立場を再確認したものの、中国との緊張を高めるのはよくない、と言い、韓国では、たぶん、北朝鮮を念頭に、同盟国を守るために、武力の行使も躊躇わない、と。

　日本の保守系新聞社がオバマを最大限、善意に解釈して、日米関係は良好のような記事をだしているのが、なんだかなああ。

　安倍は中韓のみならず、英語のメディアでも悪魔と思われている、くらいにわれわれは認識しておいたほうがいい。

　だから、プーチンを悪魔のように英語圏メディアで云々しても、私は、あまり信じないのである。
