MERRY CHRISTMAS and HAPPY NEW YEAR
Dear friends,
Once again the year has flown by with frightening speed. It’s been quite an eventful year for us on a number of fronts and we’ve been thankful for the great natural beauty that surrounds us. We hope your year has been a good one; and for the coming year we wish you all the very best in:
Love, Peace, Health and Happiness
Nigel, Yoko & Sean
Yoko taking a walk along the beach at Byron Bay on her 49th birthday.
My how fast they grow up! Sean turns 18 in January. He completed high school this year and is now enjoying a well earned rest after the stress of the final exams in October. He is contemplating a gap year before starting university.
Kuku-chan, our wild kookaburra, is still a regular visitor after more than 15 years, during which she has raised many young. She continues to fulfill her unofficial role as ambassador for the environment with great aplomb, delighting all our guests, young and old.
Our green tree face regularly as frogs that are so our ponds.
Water Lily
A pair of Buff-Banded Rail has recently set up home by the ponds in our Japanese Garden and continually delight us as they go about their activities, including conducting pest control on our behalf.
