■金沢もっきりや

今宵は気分転換で金沢の街へ出てＪａｚｚスポットのもっきりやへ。RIVERSIDEがお休みだったのでもっきりやのサイトを見たところちょうどピアノトリオがあった。ピアノとベースのお二人は以前RIVERSIDEの年末のセッションのときなどに演っていらっしゃったし、海野さんも何度か演奏を聴いたことがあった。
店に入りカウンターの最前席で聴く。
いやぁ～なかなか切れがある小気味良い演奏がとてもに体に沁みて気持ちよかった。
選曲も初めて聴く曲も多くとても勉強になる。いろいろと帰ってネットで調べると超面白い。海野さんのオリジナル曲もカッコイイ。
ありがとうございました。聴きに入ってよかったぁ。

datはthat、dereはthere。どちらも舌足らずな子ども言葉。質問攻めにしてママを困らせています。ロング・バージョンでは「she」と呼ばれているので、お嬢ちゃんですね。そんな彼女もやがて大きくなり、恋をし家族を設ける。すると今度は、自分の子どもから質問攻めに会うという内容。因果は巡り巡って、ゾウさん好きの子はゾウさん好き。
ジャズ・メッセンジャーズのピアニスト、ボビー・ティモンズが1960年に発表したインスト曲。自らのトリオで演奏しファンキー・ジャズの代表曲となったが、これを同年オスカー・ブラウン・ジュニアが愛らしい歌詞でボーカリーズした。もともとは「ダディ」と呼びかける男の子バージョンになっている。
