今日は当初予定はしていなかったが、仕事が定時でキリがついたため、時間が空きなんとなくジャズミュージシャンのサイトをみていたら何気にチカシンガーさんの名前が目に留まり、今日ゲートワンでやっていることに気がつく。これまで昨年１０月オールオブミークラブ、今年１月ゲートワンとこれまで２度聴いたので久しぶりに聴きたいと思ったのと、前回逃した川嶋哲郎（ｔｓ）さんたちとのライブのＣＤを手に入れたいと思い、いざゲートワンへ。前回は結構満員だったので電話予約。
店に入るとカウンター席に案内。どこでもいいですよとのことなので、最前席（女性が座っていた）と３～４番目席（男性２人組）の間の２番目に割り込んで座った。
最前席の女性はチカさんの関係者で、確か前回もいらしていた方。始まる前に少しおしゃべり。私が川嶋さんのファンでそのつながりでチカさんに興味を持ってライブを聴きに着ていたブログにも掲載している話で盛り上がった。1st-setが終わりチカさんにＣＤを求める。
反対側の隣の男性二人組の一人は先般の「山頂 de Jazz」に参加した常連のかたのようで、もう一人はJazzBarが初めてのようでした。そして私も「山頂 de Jazz」に参加した旨話を切り出すとそこから話が大盛り上がり。その方は「山頂 de Jazz」のスタッフの「そーでんSK」さんであった。早速SKさんからマイミクの依頼があり即承認。初JazzライブのKDさんも大変感動されてJazzBarデビューを飾られ、これから先、広く深いJazzの世界におぼれていくのでしょう。
2nd-set後、チカさんが私の隣の席にすわり、いろいろと談笑。私とSKさんとチカさんともに同じ年の生まれであることが判明し、またまた盛り上がる。
曲は、これまでに聴いたチカさんのレパートリーに加え、私が初めて聴く曲が数曲あり早速チェック。
あとでネットで探索です。
今日は本当にこのライブに行ってよかった。いろいろ繋がりができてとても楽しかった。
