梅雨の晴れ間は夏の空
アオサギは小川で朝食
水質汚染消えて小魚群
ヤマモモは樹下に広がる

瞬時に川魚と捉える必殺の早業
夏至も近づく六月初旬朝の散歩
梅雨入りに田植え準備始まる盆地

台風に古木が折れて小枝が残り
庭の主木と成り早百年が過ぎる
昨夜の雷雨は地に玉模様を描く
耳を澄ませば風に揺らぐ声がする

A typhoon broke old tree and left only twigs
It's been 100 years since it became the main tree in my garden.
Thunderstorm last night draws a ball pattern on the ground
If I listen carefully, I will hear a voice swaying in the wind

爽やかな早月の風が流れ
朝の雨に新鮮な香り漂い
生きる喜び葉の露に写り
故郷の四季今日一日を感謝

There is a fresh scent even in the morning rain
The joy of living is reflected in the dew on a leaves
I thank you today for the four seasons in my hometown

敏捷な飛翔は渡り鳥の北上する様か
秋の佐多岬ヒヨドリの南下思い出す
春秋の大隅半島渡り鳥の列島回廊想う

Agile flight Is looking like many migratory birds going north
Cape Sata in autumn, I remember migration of many brown-eared bulbuls to south
I think of Osumi Peninsula in spring and autumn as archipelago corridor of migratory birds

漁港の小型船と沖の大型タンカー
五〇年前も熱風ペルシャ湾の潮風
大型油送船勤務が過酷な記憶残す
岬の新緑と潮風に明日へ英気を頂く
Cape Sata is closed
Small boat at fishing port and large tanker offshore
Half a century ago, the sea breeze in Persian Gulf was hot
The work of a large tanker left me a harsh memory
The fresh greenery of Cape Sata and the sea breeze will make me excited tomorrow.
