太陽工房には聴覚障害の利用者の方がいらっしゃるのは
以前にもお伝えしました。
コミュニケーション時はホワイトボードやノートを使って
会話をしていますが、やはりスムーズに軽快にお話をしたいと
6月から、利用者の方と一緒に職員2名が
手話講座に通い始めました。
利用者の方が諫早居住なので、諫早社協の手話講座に申し込み
その時に事情をお話し、職員は大村市民なのですが一緒に受講できないか
検討していただき、その後合理的配慮ということで
職員2名の受講を許可していただきました。

毎週月曜日夜7：30～9：30まで、みっちり2時間ですが
あっと言う間に終わります。
私たちが通っているのは入門編 12月まで
そのあと来年6月から基礎編 を終了する予定です。
あ～、先は長いですが頑張ります。
昨日は指文字や名前を学びました。
I think I’ve already told you that there is a user who has a hearing impairment at Taiyo Koubou. We chat with the person using a white board or memo pads, but to make it easier to communicate with the person, two staff and the user started to attend a sign language course. Since the user lives in Isahaya, we applied for a sign language course at the council of social welfare in Isahaya, telling our circumstances. All the staff are from Omura, asked the person in charge of the office, if we could attend the course together, and then the worker of the council of social welfare permitted to attend the course as reasonable accommodations. Thank you so much. On every Mondays from 7:30 to 9:30 at night, for two hours, it ends so fast. The course we attend to is for beginners. Until December. Then from the next June, we will finish the basics of it. There is still a long way to go, but we will do our best. We learned finger signs and names yesterday.
ちなみに、大村市の要約筆記者養成講座にも職員一人が受講しています。
