「9.11」から4年が経ちました。
もしあれに何か一つでも価値があったとするならば、
[...All This Time]が結果として
今在る通りの素晴らしい内容になったことがそれです。
4年前、3000人が死亡し、その一人一人について
家族、周囲の人間の人生が変更を余儀なくされ、多くは壊されました。
死亡者の1100人に関しては身元が判明されないまま確認作業を終了しました。
また、これを契機として様々な事が起こりました。
米国はテロリズムと戦う為にアフガニスタンに侵攻し、住宅や民間施設をも攻撃しました。
米国内でもアラブ系だというだけで一般人が暴行、射殺されました。
防衛の為の予防措置として、保有していなかった大量破壊兵器を破棄させる為に
イラク戦争を開戦しました。
「戦闘が終結した」現在も米軍の駐留するイラクにおいて
テロによる民間人死傷者は増え続けています。
公人ならば、ユーモアの題材として使って良いものか否かを
判断する良識を持って頂きたいものです。
