スポーツの勝敗が、「審判」という人間の判断に、いつまでも任せられるか？
今年から採用された、FIFAワールドカップ・世界選手権での「ビデオ使用」。
まさに、最終の決勝戦が、残るのみの今日。
女子の同サッカー連盟（FIFA女子ワールドカップ）が、女子の選手権大会でも「ビデを使用を許可して」と、訴えた。
・・・
「来年のフランスで行われる大会から、ビデを判定を採用せよ」と、、。
今回の男性の大会でも、ビデオが活用され、幾つかの重要な場面で重要な分岐点になった。

野球も相撲も、いつから始まったか、長い歴史のなかで、選手や力士の身長は伸び、体力も、昔のそれより「各段」と、大きく・強くなっているはず。
土俵の大きさ（直径）や、マウンドのバッテリー間、ベース間の距離など、、。
いつまで、同じ距離、大きさでやるのかな、、。






U.S. coach urges use of VAR for women
Female players have an equal right to have FIFA use video review for their tournament next year in France, U.S. women’s coach Jill Ellis said Wednesday.

FIFA is using Video Assistant Referees for the men’s World Cup for the first time this year, and it has led to several key call reversals and an increase in penalty kicks.

“I can’t see them not having it. I think it would be a little bit insulting if we weren’t afforded the same opportunity,” Ellis said during a round-table discussion with American reporters.

ホンマかいな！
スマホの小さな画面で、未来の「伴侶」を探す時代。
いろんな「質問」や「登録」で、双方の「相性」<お似合い度＞が、色や点数で表示。
それをAIが判断。

・・・・・あとは、双方の責任、これだけは、事実、真実。
そうですよね、皆さん、、。

Online matchmaking sites have become so popular that artificial intelligence (AI) versions of Cupid have replaced humans, but not all paired partners end up living happily ever after.

More than 7 million people in Japan, Taiwan and South Korea had registered for the service by May, eureka said.

Zensational! Japanese firm launches Buddhist sermon service
Feeling uncertain about life? Need a bit of guidance? A Japanese firm is launching a new service allowing you to talk to a smart speaker and receive a sermon from Buddhist monks.

Tokyo-based Yoriso says its new feature would enable users to listen to three-minute sermons via a smart speaker given by four monks depending on their mood.

Buddhism and Shintoism are the two major religions in Japan but attachment to religion has dropped.

As the population ages and rural communities shrink, some 30 percent of Japan's 75,000 Buddhist temples are at risk of closing by 2040, according to Kenji Ishii, a professor of Kokugakuin University in Tokyo.

Honda may cease Asimo upgrades
Honda Motor Co. is considering ending upgrades of its Asimo bipedal humanoid robot, it was learned on Thursday.

Asimo has been improved in stages since it debuted in 2000 as a pioneering bipedal robot.

From now, the Japanese firm will focus on developing practical robots for the nursing and welfare sectors utilizing technologies it has acquired through the development of Asimo, informed sources said.

「子どもを もっと欲しい」 両親の70％

東京大学と教育・出版などの企業「ベネッセ」が共同でおこなった調査。
幼児を持つ両親の70％が、「もっと子供が欲しい」と回答(夫婦の双方、各約3千人の昨年10月調査）。
しかしながら、実際には、母親の約29％、夫の22５が、「実際はむつかしい」と判断。
その理由の80％が「財政的に」で、その他は「体力」や、「仕事のバランス」のむつかしさを挙げている。
「子どもをもっと」、と望む夫婦の多くは、”お互いの家事と育児の分担”、や、自分たちの両親か近所の人たちの「サポート」を、「頼りにしている」。

・・・・・・少子化が止らない我が国で、「打つ手」は、どこに？
・・・働き方改革や、高齢化対策が、この「解決策」に、ならなければ、、、？



70 percent of Japanese parents with infants want more kids: survey

According to the survey, 74.1 percent of mothers and 68.8 percent of fathers answered that they want more kids.

However, 28.6 percent of mothers and 22.3 percent of fathers who said they want more kids believed it would be difficult in reality. Of those respondents, 80 percent cited the financial burden as a factor. Others cited the physical burden and the difficulty of balancing home life and work.

Many of those planning to have more children were couples who assist each other with housework and child-rearing or have the support of their families or neighbors.

大阪の企業 地震で操業中断も

トウキョウに負けない経済を、とガンバル大阪に地震が発生。

月曜日朝の地震により、大阪の企業が操業の中断や一部閉鎖を余儀なくされた。
工場設備の安全の確認や従業員の安全確保のため。
池田市に本社を置くダイハツ工業は、近畿圏内の工場も含め操業中断。
カネボウで知られるクレシエ・ホールディングスも、大阪府高槻市にある工場で、一時中断。
パナソニックも、豊中市内の溶接機製造工場が、一時操業中断。
いずれも、順次操業を再開しているが、「完全復帰」には、まだ少し、といったところ。

そのほか、ファミリーレストランや外食チェーンにも影響は残った。
都市ガスの完全復旧も、もう少し、、。

まちも人も、安全神話が、案外もろいものだと、知ることになった大阪、関西ではある。

Companies Halt Operations in Western Japan after Quake　
Many companies in the Kinki western Japan region suspended operations Monday to check for possible damage and confirm the safety of their employees after a strong earthquake rocked the region in the morning.

Daihatsu Motor Co. halted operations at a plant in Ikeda, Osaka Prefecture, and another in Oyamazaki, Kyoto Prefecture, neighboring Osaka. Both plants produce small vehicles.

Kracie Holdings Ltd. suspended the production of Chinese herbal medicines and other products at two plants in the Osaka city of Takatsuki due to damage from the quake.

Panasonic Corp. <6752> stopped operations at a welding machine factory in Toyonaka, also in Osaka, ～

認知症で約16,000人 行方不明に

高齢化が進むなか、「行方不明者」の増加が、重大な課題に。
昨年1年間の、認知症と思われるこうした人たちが、15,863人と過去最多を記録。
2012年と比べ、65％もの増加。
また、警察庁によると、昨年中には約230人が「発見されない」まま。
・・・・かなりの人は、発見されていることにもなるが、、。
探す家族や、関係の人たちの「苦労と心配」は、続く。
警察や自治体が共同で、「早期発見」策を試行中だ。

・・・ここ箕面市でも、ペンダントを装着した（させた）人を、要所要所で「通行」を確認するシステムが稼働中。

・・・・自分探しの旅にでるのが18歳、出かけたままわからなくなって、皆が探しているのが81歳。

Record 15,863 people with dementia go missing in 2017
Wandering off by people with dementia continues to be a serious problem in Japan's rapidly aging society, with a record 15,863 such people reported missing in 2017, police data showed Thursday.

A total of 227 could not be found by the end of the year, according to the National Police Agency. The number of missing person reports increased 431 from 2016 and represented a 65 percent rise from 2012 when comparable data became available.

Local police have been working with municipal authorities to more quickly find wandering dementia patients, and some introduced new methods such as storing biometric data of dementia patients for quicker and accurate identification.(Japaqn Today : 6/15)

小泉進次郎・自民党副幹事長が、国会に「森友学園、加計学園」問題の特別調査委員会の設置を訴えた。

素人の常識からは、一連のこの問題の「忖度」の意味が分からない。
総理大臣の奥さんの「関与」、<一緒の写真付き＞や＜夫人付き職員の海外「栄転」など＞を、「一般（人）の問い合わせ」として、済ませる常識を、、。

・・・・文書の改ざんに反抗し、「他の部署」に移動した（させられた？）職員もいるとの、報道に、（心ある役人もいる、と）「ほっと」する気持ちもある、、、。

後世に「ホントはこんなことでした」と「黒塗り」などをなくし、「二度と起こらないようにする＜事実＞」を残すことが「智恵」であり、大切な民主主義を引き継ぐ「遺産」では、ないのだろうか。、、、、「全員、無罪」で結構、、。

Shinjiro Koizumi rocks boat, seeks Diet probe into Kake scandal
Popular ruling party lawmaker Shinjiro Koizumi demanded the Diet set up a special committee to investigate the scandal involving the Kake Educational Institution, a move certain to anger Prime Minister Shinzo Abe’s inner circle.

“The ruling party should demand the establishment of a special committee as an authentic check on the government,” Koizumi, chief deputy secretary-general of the Liberal Democratic Party, said June 6.

2020年に走る 街なかの自動運転車

政府は、地域や場所を特定して、「完全自動運転自動車」の走行を開始させる。
電車やバスの走らない、人口の少ない地域で、2020年までに。
新経済戦略の新投資策として。
中央制御装置により、住民の病院やショッピングへの「足」確保が狙い。
2020年以後、2030年までには、その地域を、100か所以上に増やす予定。
同時に、事故時や交通違反時の対策も、今年度中にまとめるという。

・・・・街を歩けば、特に日中に目にするのは、老人ばかり、、。
たまに、若い人、特に若い女性を目にすると、ビックりする、、、！？
もちろん、こちらは「老人」。



Japan to roll out public service with automated vehicles by 2020
The government plans to start automated vehicle services on public roads by 2020 in some areas, such as depopulated districts where train and bus services have been discontinued.

The plan was included in the draft of a new growth strategy released by the government’s future investment council on June 4.

Through control centers, unmanned vehicles will be operated via remote control to transport residents for shopping or going to hospitals.

After starting the service by 2020, the government plans to increase the number of areas to more than 100 by 2030, the draft said.

東北の岩手県は盛岡市で、1900年代の初めから酒46つくりを続ける酒造家。
酒の優秀賞にも輝いた経歴を持つ老舗、そこにもAIの技術が入り込む。
”秋田美人”の名の酒で有名な、二戸市にある「南部美人」酒造会社が、AI技術を取り入れる。
ひとつは、人手不足対策だが、麹つくりの酒米と水の調合時期などにAIの導入を検討。
2017年の世界ワイン・コンテストで最優勝を勝ち取った酒”南部美人特別純米”などの、一層の「美人化」も目指す、という、その社長は46歳。

Japanese brewery tries AI-assisted sake making

An award-winning sake brewery in northeastern Japan dating back to the early 1900s is hoping to use a new approach to sake production -- using artificial intelligence to assist skilled workers.

Nanbu Bijin Co. in Ninohe, Iwate Prefecture, is developing an AI tool to find the best time to drain water in a process called steeping, during which rice is soaked in water before being steamed. The company aims to see the practical application of the technology within several years.

　Its "Nanbu Bijin tokubetsu junmai" won the champion sake prize at the International Wine Challenge 2017 in the category of "junmai," or sake made of only rice, koji mold and water.
