朝の散歩道

敗戦後七五年間を平和に生活
戦火も飢餓も防空壕も無くて
今朝も静かな小道を散歩する
小鳥や川魚や野の白百合に挨拶
Morning walkway
Have lived peacefully for 75 years after the war
Without war, hunger, or bomb shelter
I take a walk on a quiet path this morning
I say hello to little birds, river fish, and white lilies of the field
