去年の３月から、津波に追われるという悪夢を繰り返し見ています。昨日の夜だって、見ました。もう数えきれないくらい、見ています。去年の３月までは、津波の夢を一回も見た事がありません。
Ever since March of last year, I've been having recurring dreams of being chased by a tsunami wave. I also had one of those dreams last night. I've had this dream so many times now I've lost count. But before then, I've never had a tsunami dream in my life.
波が砕け散る前に必死に津波のてっぺんまで泳ごうとしている夢もあります。普段登らないものを一番高いところまで必死に登ろうとしている夢もあります。家族を連れて逃げていて、家族が追い付けないかと怖くてたまらない夢もあります。でもどんなに登っても、どんなに高くまで行っても、水位がどんどん上がるばかりです。ある夜、富士山みたいな一番大きい山に登ったら、水がてっぺんまで私に追ってきて、世界全体を飲み込みました。逃げることはありません。でもいつも私はちょうど波に飲み込まれる前に、目が覚めます。
Sometimes I'm desparately trying to swim to the top before it crashes. Sometimes I'm climbing buildings and mountains to stay as high as possible. Sometimes I'm trying to pull my family up with me, and I'm scared that they can't keep up. But no matter how high I climb, the water level always rises. One night I dreamt I climbed a mountain as high as Mt. Fuji, and the water followed me all the way to the top and swallowed the world whole. There's never any escape. But I always wake up right before I'm swallowed by the water.
若い頃は悪夢をよく見ましたが、大人になってからあまり見なくなりました。何年ぶりに悪夢を繰り返し見るようになってしまいました。
I had nightmares a lot when I was little, but I stopped having them when I grew up. It's been years now since I've had recurring nightmares this way.
津波の夢の解釈は色々あります（特に何かの感情に襲われているという意味の）けど、これは夢占いじゃないです。
There are lots of interpretations for tsunami dreams (especially being overcome with a certain emotion in one's daily life), but this isn't something open for interpretation.
３月１１日、職場で地震が起きたらすぐに同僚がテレビをつけましたので、東北で人々が津波に飲み込まれているのを生放送で見ました。その恐ろしさは一生忘れられません。もし私は当日津波の現場にいましたら、生き残っても絶対に正気を失ったと思います。死ぬまで津波の経験を持っている被災者の心が癒されていくことを祈ります。そんな経験に直面する強さが尊敬されているよと言いたいです。
On March 11th, my coworkers immediately turned on the TV at work as soon as the earthquake hit, so I watched people up north being swallowed alive by the tsunami on live television. I will never forget that terror. If I were actually at the scene of the tsunami that day, there's no way I could survive that and stay mentally sane. I pray for the continued emotional healing of all the victims who keep such an experience with them for the rest of their lives, and I want to let them know how much their strength is respected.
