streamlineはこういう使い方もできるんですね。語感のまま使う感じですね。cuckooingは辞書にはないですがそのまま。

どの地区に多いのかはわからなかったですが。社会的弱者のhousing association flatとかが例に上がっているので、council houseみたいなところですかね。
現状の法律だと取り締まれないみたいので、abuse。気の毒に。

日本で使われているoutletは日本語英語ではなく英語でも同じに使われているみたいです。ここでのoutletは別の意味。
disaffected listenersはわかるなあ。Radio2は元々聞かないですが。長らくRadio6でしたが、今はRadio4ばかり。
相変わらず聞き流すだけ、ですが、日本語ニュースを見なくなったので代わりの情報源。今Sunakは日本なんだ。こんな暑い日に。

John Humphrysの最終回はイギリスで朝聴いていて、David CameronとかTony Blairとかが出てきてなんか感動的でした。
政治家は声と話し方ですぐわかりますが。最近はnews readerも声でわかるようになってきました。でもこういうのはリスニング力とは言わない。
リスニング力がこんなレベルなので。民法ラジオはハードルが高すぎー。
