目的地は、偕楽園と千波湖さんに隣接する、丘の上でございます。

護国神社さんに、参拝いたしました。
I visited the defense of the fatherland Shinto shrine.
女性を含む全ての戦没者の御霊に、深く感謝いたしました。
I deeply expressed my gratitude to all the war dead including the woman.
たくさんの尊い慰霊碑が、森の中にございます。
In this forest, there are a lot of honorable memorial cenotaphs.
いずれの碑も、欠くことのできない歴史の真実を、静かに物語っております。

I joined my hands in prayer, and looked up at the sky.
戦後の長い間、日本国民は、自国の歴史を正当に学ぶ機会を、逸しておりました。
