Let me tell you today about Michael Fox
He is one of the actors that I am a fan of
but I really didn't know much about his life
one of the things I share with Michael is the fact he s also short
and myself being short
there were times when i was bullied as well
just being different from others
the word he said "what keeps him going?"
he says "with gratitude, optimism is sustainable"
I will always remember that
At one time, the only way he was able to forget about his Parkinson disease was to
sleep
so he consumed alcohol to numb himself from the pain
but one night he saw his wife crying
and realized that he thought he was the only one that was suffering
but his wife was also suffering as much
and from there on
he stood up
got out of just sleeping and moved on with his life
he was a billionaire and yet after he got this disease
that he was no longer able to perform within 10 years
he said that money meant nothing
nothing!
eventhough you may have a lot of money
you cannot save your life
or to add more years to your life
I believe God had taught us so many things through Michael
He has taught us about life
and how we are to live our lives
everything that happens to us has a meaning
being short, being bullied
not being able to get a girlfriend
not able to get the job you want
then comes the opportunity
you meet the right girl
you get married
you do well on your job
and then illness hits you
but you get up again
and show the world, never give up
and give away the money for foundation
don't keep it all to yourself
it will mean nothing if it was not put in use
have an attitude of gratitude
