真空管アンプの大きな特徴として
部品点数が少ないことが挙げられます。
一般的なトランジスターアンプと比較すると半分以下です。
真空管はほんの少しの部品で動作する魔法のデバイス？
そんなことはありませんが
真空管アンプの設計思想として、
「Simple is best.」が根底にあるからだと思われます。
ただの銅線である信号ケーブルでさえ、
その種類によって音質が劣化すると言われています。
ましてや、抵抗やコンデンサーなどの電子部品ではなおさらです。
シンプルなオーディオシステムにこだわり、
トーンコントロールやグラフィックイコライザーを毛嫌いする人がいますが、
トランジスターアンプの部品点数を数えた事があるのでしょうか？
真空管アンプは音の鮮度が良いといわれますが
部品点数を考えると決して不思議なことではありません。

Although it is said that the sound of a tube amp is fresh,
considering a component count, it is reasonable.
