「固定ビットレートと可変ビットレート 」の続きです。
ビットレートを320kとし、ファイルサイズにこだわらない場合、
可変ビットレートが音質が良いというのは間違いということを検証しました。
LAMEで同じ音源を
320k固定ビットレートと320k可変ビットレートにエンコードしました。
音源は「養老鉄道百景 / スギテツ」です。
ファイルサイズは
320k固定ビットレートが6.6Mバイト
320k可変ビットレートが5.16Mバイトです。
聴き比べてみました。
データーサイズからしても固定ビットレートが良いと予想はつきますが
差はわずかですが固定ビットレートのほうが
高域が伸びていました。
やはり、320k固定ビットレートが良いようです。

According to data size,
anticipation will be attached if a constant bit rate is good.
Although differences are few, treble of a constant bit rate is good.
It seems that a 320k constant bit rate is good after all.
