It is getting warmer and warmer. Squirrels come out from their nests (their nests are on trees) and run on campus. They are so lovely.

Today my boyfriend and I went skating. Penn (University of Pennsylvania) has its own skate link and today was a special day of a discount entrance and rental shoes' fee. It was $5 per person. I skated twice in my life but it was loooooong time ago. It took a while to get used to skate, but I enjoyed it!

Today was a New Year's Day in lunar calendar. It seemed that many events were going on. I attended only a free food party as usual... In Chinese class my teacher gave every student a red envelop. Originally a small amount money is included in it. But this time a piece of paper on which a Chinese word was written was in it. Money was not included in all envelops. Luckily, I got an envelop with money! It was a Chinese money, renminbi.

Today was the first Japanese Chat to join as an organizer of this group. Japanese language chat is a casual meeting between Japanese and non-Japanese. Today around 20 people came to attend the chat and a room was full. Non-Japanese are from Canada, Sweden, India, Korea, China, Taiwan, France, and the US. They speak fluent Japanese. It is amazing!

Today my classmates and I went to a Japanese restaurant in Philly. To tell you the truth, this was the first time to go to a Japanese restaurant in the US. We had nigiri-zushi and nabeyaki-udon. I was surprised that they were authentic taste. To my regret, I could not have Udon with red pepper. Red pepper was not on the table and we could not wait until a waiter came to our table.
