Today I went to Victor Cafe for my boyfriend's birthday. This restaurant was amazing because all waiters and waitresses could sing opera. They sang every twenty minutes! I heard they were studying singing in college. I asked a waitress to sing a happy birthday song when she served a dessert. And all waiters and waitresses sang for us. It was a memorable day!

I went to Lancaster to see Armish people. The Armish is a religious group who came from Dutch in 18th century. They still live without the use of electricity and motor vehicles. I saw many girls who were using a lawn mower which works by hand.
A girl in a picture is one of them.

My boyfriend and I decided to see a movie. I wanted to see "Nobody knows" (Daremo shiranai), but I could not find where it was on show. My boyfriend suggested to see "Sin City" because his friend said it was good. Since I did not have time to read the review of the movie, I just went to the cinema. And I hated it from the first scene because it was so violent.
He and I left early before it ended. We wasted time and money. I learned the importance of checking the review before watching it.

I went on a night cruise today. The huge ship which had three floors was reserved by the graduate students' organization. So it was full with Penn students. Unfortunately, it was raining, but I enjoyed chatting, eating, drinking, and dancing!

March 27 (Sun.) Easter

This morning around 6:30 am, I heard someone knocking on my door. The big sound woke up me and my roommate. I was a little scared and looked through a small window on the door. I could not find anyone. I opened the door and found a basket which was full of chocolate on the floor. Then, my roommate said "Oh, Easter!" A rabbit (stuffed animal) on the basket held a message card, "Happy Easter, Yumiko from Easter Bunny." I called my boyfriend because I thought he did. But he insisted on saying, "Not me, Easter Bunny." It was a touching event.
