年に二回、夏と冬にイタリア、ミラノで開催される
WHITEという洗練されたファッション展示会があります。
今年6月、デザイナーTOSSY MIURAの出展手伝いで訪れた
WHITE。世界各国から秀でたお洒落人が集まり、
連日繰り広げられる夢のような最先端のファッションショー。
先日、1月のWHITEヘの出展を断腸の思いで断ったTOSSY。
その理由は、あの震災以降、多くの縫製工場を東北に抱え、
今だ納期遅れが回避出来ずにいる事。
そして、ファッション業界に震災後の不況は
大きく影を潜めている事。
出展をお断りした矢先、思いもかけない
ミラノからのe-mail
日本へのエールとともに、厳しい状況下にある
日本のファッション業界をサポーするべく
『出展料（約７０万）をfree of chargeにするから是非出展を
もう一度考えてみてはどうですか？』
とジェネラルマネージャーのSimonaからの
心あたたまるメール。
ファッションを通じても世界は一つ。と感じています。
数回のメールのやり取りの末、
悩んだあげく、ポジティブな考えに添う事を選んだ
TOSSY。まだまだ世界へと挑み続ける姿勢は素敵だな～と思います。
お仕事で悩んでいるかた、まずは動いてみましょう。
動く程に出会いはあります。そして手を差し伸べてくれる方も

年明けそうそう、今回はパリをスルーしてミラノ～ロンドンへと
展示会のお手伝いとバイイング、約10日の旅となりそうです。

have to renounce to take part at WHITE Milano next January therefore
