ご先祖様が大隅半島から入植して
荒地開墾し一家を立ち上げ子孫へ
二百数十余年日々眺めた高千穂峰
霧島は心の支えと成り故郷の代名詞

My ancestors settled in this place from Osumi Peninsula
Ancestors cleared wasteland, set up family and left it to descendants
We have seeing Mr.Takachihonomine every day from my ancestors to today for more than 200 years
Kirishima Mountain Range is a support of our heart, it is a synonym of hometown
