始まりました｢勝手にColdplay｣。

では第一弾いきましょう。この曲も東京公演で披露されました。
｢Something Just Like This｣
今をときめくEDMデュオThe Chainsmorkersとの協同製作曲です。
サウンドは一見EDM感バキバキに聴こえますが、後半はきちんとジョニーのギターサウンド奏でられてますし、全体をみていい具合に少年心の純粋感を感じられます。
歌詞も協同製作ですが、ここはクリス(Coldplayのボーカリスト)感満載。でもチェーンスモーカーズ単体の作品聴いてると、クリスとの心情の距離は割と近めなのかなとも思います。ベース部分のね。
結構色んな方々が和訳してます。私の見解としては…半々です(何が?)
えっとですね、見方としては
｢ありのままの僕を受け入れてくれてる君と未来をみている｣っていう前途洋々な感じと
｢僕も君が言うような人間でいたいけどまだ僕はたどり着いていないと感じるんだ｣という己の葛藤感。このふたつに分かれそうなんだけど、私としては両方同じくらい感じ取れるんですよね。サウンドも含めて聴くとね。
