新年明けましたね、おめでとうございます。
そしてここ最近、体のあらゆる先端にジャックフロストのいたずらが施されている気がします。今こうしてタイピングをしている最中も指先から彼の含み笑いが聴こえてきますね、ああ寒い寒い。
これもこの季節の醍醐味と胸をはって言える日まで、まだしばしの時間が必要な気もしますが、この曲はこの季節を味わうには持ってこいなのではないでしょうか。

1989年の作品です。
好きですねー。とか言いつつコーヒーがぶ飲みながらこの曲を和訳してる自分。
作品自体に「冬」に直結するワードは出てきませんが「ニューヨーク」とここにふわついてる灰色の分厚い壁に「冬」の存在を感じます。そしてそこに覆い被さってきたこのPVがわたしの体温を2、3度下げはるんですよね。
ただ、この作中には非常に力強い言葉があります。この言葉こそ「冬」を生きる醍醐味なのです。
