Daft Punkはフランス出身のエレクトロニックデュオ且つ覆面デュオです。
このビデオの監督ミシェル・ゴンドリーはビョークやホワイトストライプスのビデオも多く手掛けてます。
思い出しますね。あの90年代後半に朧ろげながらも確実に候(こう)していたハウス、エレクトロニックサウンドを。エレクトロニックといってもパリポー感はあまり感じられない、何処と無くお洒落でいてスマートなサウンドだったと思います。
歌詞は延々と、もう延々と"Around the world "のワードが繰り返されるのみ。で、この画でしょう。面白いなーと思ったよね(笑)だって「ああ、そういうことね」って思えちゃう。

I remind with good feelings that...In japan, the house and electronics sounds wasn't appear much in 90's,but There was it clearly in the late 90's.
Although it called the electronics sounds,it is not like "Spree party people " I think.And I feel it was polished, sage and smart.
