文中のthough

thoughは、多くの場合、文の先頭にきて従属節を作るが、くだけた表現として文中で使われることもある。
この場合、一つ前の文章に対して、「しかし」という意味を表す。

冒頭の Some ＋ 人 の訳し方

冒頭の　Some　＋　人　の訳し方は、「何人かの〜」と訳すよりも、「〜という人もいる」と訳すとよい。

例えば以下のような言い回しもある。
Some people 〜, others 〜. ◎◎という人もいれば、◎◎という人もいる。
