Intelligence, An axis of consciousness
Even though living things do not seem to move, they continue their autonomous activity of living. They take in necessary substances from the outside and continue various chemical reactions inside to maintain their activities at all times. No matter how small the organism is, a large number of substances such as proteins are intertwined to form a tissue, and the individual is in a state of being filled with energy to live and activated. In that case, some organisms should concentrate on living as a unit. I call it the consciousness of living, which acts on the whole individual and keeps it active so as to organize various reactions. This action is the same as the state in which one living individual is always conscious of continuing to activate, and it seems that it is not a force that physically controls the whole, but a force that latently organizes substances behind it. In other words, each living thing is totally activated by the energy to live, not the energy of material force.
The energy that keeps the constant activity of living throughout the individual comes from the consciousness of sustaining life. However, the word consciousness is not generally used as if we were conscious of something, but as a living individual, many substances are grouped together to maintain the energy of activation to live as one individual. I think that living things have the energy to maintain autonomous activities because they have the consciousness of staying alive. And the consciousness to live is becoming more and more complicated over a long period of time, rather than just staying alive. If there is a process in which an organism has gradually become a complex organization, I think that there are stages in consciousness with that process, and there is a direction to go.
I think that various creatures on the earth have positions and directions in their consciousness to live. Then, this living consciousness can be regarded as forming an expansive dimension. Here, we consider three axes: the axis of time, the axis of space, and the axis of intelligence. Life matter, including us, is located on the axis of this dimension. The first dimension of living consciousness is time. If there is a consciousness that envelops the entire individual organism, it takes time for this consciousness to cause changes such as reactions of internal substances. The basis of movement is the passage of time. Organisms grow and develop over time. The second dimension of living consciousness is space. Organisms are masses organized by matter, and matters form as an object in space. A life thing as a substance develops in the space in which it exists. The consciousness of living controls matters in time and space in order to maintain the continuation and development of life.
The basis for activating organisms is supported by a complex reaction system called metabolism. The balance is lost due to lack or excess, and the force is generated in the direction of compensating for it, and we are constantly repeating the process of moving toward balance. In other words, we are in a cycle of taking in what we need and eliminating what we don't need. This causal relationship is memorized as a combination of proteins by applying it to a fixed gene. An organism is a collection of cells with the same gene, and has a mechanism to secure the characteristic morphology and function of each individual. Now, there are a wide variety of organisms on the earth, and each individual continues to activate the determined tissue. The ingenious mechanism of life is not limited to the information contained in genes. What kind of mechanism is there to create a wide variety of living things in time and space? How could early organisms complete the mechanism of leaving biological information in genes as a form of life? How was the mechanism by which organisms sustain their activation in autonomous balance movements? I think that the intellect that manipulates the mechanism of life is contained in the consciousness of living.
It is generally known that organisms remain active as long as they live, grow and change generations. Organisms have a tissue structure specialized for living, have sensory organs according to the environment, are forced to activate in space and time in which they are placed, and cannot escape from their involvement. In other words, when living things start an activity based on the consciousness of living, they are bound to continue activation within the range of their body and environment as long as they live. Given the development of living organisms, in its early stages it concentrates only on the continuation of life activation, but as the nervous system and brain develop, a variety of species emerge. Taking the complexity of the species on the vertical axis and the passage of time on the horizontal axis, it represents the trajectory of biological tissues gradually increasing their functions and becoming intelligent behaviors. The tissue structure of an individual is involved in a unique gene, but the causal relationships that occur individually are not immediately reflected in the gene. The mechanism by which the living body becomes complicated is involved in the direction of the intellect of living consciousness.
The substances that make up the mass of living things are on the axis of space, and it has the direction of developing more complicated on the axis of time. This mass of matter activates the phenomenon of life by the consciousness of living. As a result, it has developed to the point of intellectual behavior in organisms that have developed the cerebrum. In humans, by being clearly aware of own selves, introspection arose and our desire for action diversified. Intelligent humans have a wide range of directions in their actions. It is clear that human development is on the axis of intellect, and this is the third dimension of living consciousness. The trajectory that becomes complicated in the dimension of consciousness in life expands in various ways due to changes in space over time. With the birth of humankind, we are now aware of the axes of time, space, and intellect in the dimension of consciousness, and are now at the stage of pursuing the complex mechanisms of living things. Human consciousness is pioneering a new dimension as a living thing, and I think that there is a future position and direction on the axis of intelligence.
Tissue structures such as the metabolism and reaction systems of life-sustaining proteins and the functions of genes that apply them are essential for continued activation of life and should have been completed early in the life-making stage. These functions are mechanisms that have been created on the axis of intelligence because they skillfully grasp the properties of proteins. From the beginning, living tissues have functions such as metabolism, and have complicated functions such as sensory organs and nervous system from the perception of time and space. In that case, it can be said that the consciousness of living tends to be complicated along the axis of intellect. The change in life in a complex direction means that it has risen in the axis of intelligence in the dimension of living consciousness. There is some force that is not material. Thinking of this as spiritual energy, this energy has a position and direction on the axes of time, space, and intellect. This force in the direction of complexity is the spiritual energy that is constantly pushing higher on the axis of intellect. This spiritual energy develops based on the energy of life that the consciousness of living has. Humans with a developed cerebrum have changed to increase their intellect beyond the mere desire to live. And it expands the position and direction on the axis of intellect with various personalities. The future of human position and direction will be considered as an extension of the axis of intellect.
The human brain introspects various events, investigates causal relationships, and thinks about the future ahead. In order to maintain the state of being alive as a human being, it has not only the energy of material desires necessary for life support, but also the mental movement to enhance intelligence. And that gives rise to energy for spiritual desires. The force that makes complex is trying to push the human position on the axis of intellect higher. In other words, from the dimension of consciousness, we are at the stage of leap from the energy-based development that sustains life to the energy of the spirit. Various personalities appear in human beings along the axis of intellect, and various value judgments occur, from which the direction on the axis of intellect is determined. Not surprisingly, we find that there are limits to how we recognize our sensory organs and brain at this time. And it should develop into a new form of spirit as well as the function and organization to live.
One of the barriers in front of us is that there is a stereotype that we are convinced of as common sense or established facts. We put the course of events around us in the frame of common sense and convince them without question. In our history of struggling with the desire to sustain life, we grow up as human beings in an environment where we can live comfortably in a group and with the customs and conventions of living. When we are convinced by the stereotypes created from various causal experiences, it puts pressure on the spread of our introspection. When I think about the origin, I feel the power to maintain a peaceful life and to live comfortably. People are in a situation where they cannot live unless they adapt to their surroundings, and they are buried in that stereotype and spend their days with emotional restraint and patience. Just as the activation of life always repeats the cycle of balancing from the imbalance, the scene of mental conflict and patience is always repeated in human life. How should we overcome this feeling of obstruction?
In the development of the axis of intellect, the underlying energy is not material, even with material outcomes. When you're motivated and engrossed in something, you forget everything else and immerse yourself in it. There, one's consciousness is focused on the subject and restrains others. There is also the patient experience with gentle emotions, enduring the desires that arise from the body. When a non-material desire arises in the mind, it becomes vital and conscious and results. In the process of human beings competing with each other and refining their individuality in a group, conflict and patience are constantly repeated in their own consciousness. The rising future will become clear in the position and direction of consciousness in such human behavior. For the time being, let's seek the direction in which the trajectory of the axis of intelligence rises in the dimension of consciousness.
It is the stage of development on the axis of intellect that causes various intellectual differentiations in human personality, with the same mechanism as adaptive radiation of living things. There is a key mechanism in the process of development of the nervous system and brain as organisms become more complex. As the consciousness of living evolved from the initial state of living things, there was a direction of becoming more complicated, so there was a work to efficiently achieve the purpose from the desire to live, and led to the development of sensory organs and nervous system. In the direction of intellect, there is energy to fulfill various desires, and there is energy to enhance the function by the axis of intellect. Intellectual experience fosters the spiritual energy to move forward, just as the accumulation of environmental involvement continues in the fixation of genes. Not only will the information filtered by the sensory organs be interpreted by the brain according to the established patterns, but new patterns will be added by the intellect. In other words, you should be aware that you limit by yourself and that you live in a way that you are comfortable with. When spiritual energy notices a limitation, it expands the range of introspection on how to extend it. Here is the direction of the axis of intellect. This direction will gradually free you from the restrictions of your desire to live.
The evolution of the nervous system and brain is the rise of living consciousness itself, and the rise of living consciousness is the basis of mental development. Hidden in the development of that spirit is the power to raise the intellect, which is the opposite of the mere desire to continue living. The direction of steering to our future brain should appear to be the direction of rising consciousness on the axis of intellect. Because the action of living consciousness can raise the intellect, and it is within ourselves that we decide the direction. Thinking about what the intellect should lead to the future. It is necessary to generate the mental energy within oneself in a direction that becomes complicated in the axis of intellect. It's about capturing reality as it is, without being bound by stereotypes, and understanding what works invisible. It is necessary to understand the limits of sensory information and to be able to intelligently verify the correct causal relationship. Suppressing the desire to sustain life that always occurs inside, and flexibly pursuing the subject with gentle patience will lead to the path of sublimation of mental energy. The fact that there is an axis of intellect in the consciousness of living and that there is a direction to enhance intelligence should be expected to develop beyond the current brain in the future.
