今場所から大関琴櫻の名前が番付に載りましたね。
祖父である元横綱琴櫻の名前を継いだ訳ですが
長年の相撲ファンとしては懐かしい限りです。
おじいさんの琴櫻が大関の頃
私は中２で相撲にはまりましたので
本当に良く覚えています。
よく覚えてるって事は
今その元横綱について書いてる記者よりも良く知ってるって事です。

初代琴櫻を褒めたたえる話ばかりですが
実は当時はそうではありませんでした。
大関時代は４大関がいました。
琴櫻、大麒麟、前の山、清国です。
横綱は大鵬もまだ現役で
北の富士、玉の海と３人いました。

だったと思われますが
残念ながらこの４大関

この４人だけが無気力相撲だったのか？
って言えば多分そうではありませんね。

逆に手加減しないとどうなったでしょうか？

私は大鵬もあれだけ長く相撲を取る事はできなかったと思いますし
琴櫻も３０歳を過ぎて横綱に上がる
なんて事は無かったと思っています。
どうしてそう思うかと言えば
今のように手加減無しで相撲を取ると
ゲガ人だらけになるのです。
今場所で言えば
先場所新記録で相撲を沸かせた尊富士は休場してますし
昨日から横綱照ノ富士と大関貴景勝も休場です。
天才として期待された伯桜鵬もケガで幕下まで陥落して
先場所やっと十両に上がりましたが
実力は大きく低下して
十両の地位を守るのがやっと
って感じです。
今は許されなくなりましたが
間違いなく昔は無気力相撲だけではなく
勝星の売買やら八百長
これが蔓延してたと思います。
どうして昔はそうだったか？
って言えば
元々相撲は興行ですから
今のプロレスに近い物だったのでは？
って想像します。
見世物ですからね
観客を楽しませれば良い訳で
無理してガチンコ相撲をして
寿命を縮める
そんな考えはあまり無かったのだと思います。
まぁ全て私の想像ですよ
私は相撲界の人間ではありませんから
実際がどうだったか知りません
ただ今の時代は不正が許されない
こんな事になりましたから
手加減無しの相撲を取る
そこまでは良いのですが
残念ながら相撲は
巨体がぶつかったり投げ飛ばしたり
そんな競技ですから
けが人が続出しています。
実力があって期待される力士程頑張りますから
その頑張りが裏目に出てケガ
これが今場所の相撲からはっきり見て取れるのです。
どうなりますかね今後の相撲は？
私はいずれ
人権団団体から待ったがかかる
そんな気がしています。
相撲取りはケガだけでなく
寿命も一般人に比べればはるかに短い
って言われてますから
