Solo Camping

2024年10月04日 | ★STARRY★

In Japan, solo camping is famous. Most bachelor or professional campers do their solo camp. There are multiple places to camp out in Japan, like mountains, forests, and beaches. What's great about solo camping is the great connection with nature. You can lie safely under the skies with twinkling stars and fresh air. You can meditate, clear your mind, connect to nature, and feel yourself healing.

I usually go solo camping if I want to relax and clear my mind. Last weekend, I went on a solo camp in Akiu. I went to Akiu Camp Resort. It is a new campsite located in Akiu, which is 40 minutes away from Nagamachi. It was built two months ago, so all the facilities are new. You can even stay for how many days because they do have a shower area. Isn`t that great?

I brought some important camping gear and a lot of wood to burn because it is cold at night. Since I camped out on Sundays I was literally alone in the campsite. That’s why it was a little scary to camp since it was really dark. I`m not worrying about the ghost or anything, but I'm worried about the bears. I think bears are still on a hunt for food. I don’t want to be a part of the wild animal food chain. That’s why instead of sleeping inside my tent I decided to move and sleep inside my car. It is safe to stay inside my car and surprisingly it was comfortable.

Solo camping is the best. You should have courage and safety measures to conquer the overnight camping experience.
