明日はまた、１２時過ぎから全日本女子駅伝大会が行われます。
それに伴い長町界隈も交通規制がありますので、ご注意下さい。

Halloween party is fun especially celebrated with our friends. Every country has its own special way of celebrating Halloween. Some of them are trick-or-treating in every house, eating Halloween-designed food, Halloween house parties and playing games, Halloween movie night, and the most famous Halloween costume party. In my country, we don`t usually have a costume party back then. Only children wear their costumes. But for some other reason people and time changes. Nowadays partying in costume is a fad. I experienced celebrating Halloween and wearing Halloween costume in Japan when I lived before in Tokyo.
The Halloween costume party was held in the streets of Shibuya. It was really fun that time. People are carefree roaming around the streets wearing their best costumes. You can see some anime costumes, superhero costumes, and some weird and funny costumes that will surely make you laugh.
And yes, that was 2019. Those were the days people don’t wear masks, people looks like they know each other and some of them became friends during that day. But it suddenly stopped since the pandemic happen. There were no street parties during Halloween because it will cause the spread of the virus. It wasn`t fun anymore because for 2 years there were no parties in the streets of Shibuya Tokyo during October 31st. But from what I`ve heard this year there will be a street party in Shibuya since Japan fully opened its borders for tourists without guided tours. They can now travel to Japan freely. But that party comes with limitations. Of course, wearing a mask is a must, and no more drinking in the street. Well like as I`ve said time changes it`s very different now compared before. Even though we have so many limitations and restrictions. Still, we can find some time to enjoy and party with our friends in times of pandemic. I just hope and pray that this pandemic will be over soon. So, we can have fun, meet, and make more friends in the future.

天気が良かったので見晴らしが最高でした。
丘の上のだだっ広い公園。
走り回って遊ぶには最高ですね
水辺好きの私としては天沼公園もお薦めです。

最近では、町の中でもHalloweenを感じられるようになりましたね
先日閖上に行ったときに少し変わった味の飲み物がありました
いちごみるくが有名なお店なのですが、季節限定でいちごとゴマの飲み物がありました
Halloweenを感じさせる見た目でゴマ好きにとっては美味しかったです
スタバでも紫芋のフラペチーノが出ていたり視覚からも味覚からもHalloweenが楽しめますね

当日は、アーニャがたくさんいるかもしれません（笑）楽しみです
今回は、カナダ・トロントに住んでいた時のハロウィンの様子を少し紹介します！
わたしはベビーシッターをしていたので、そこの子どもたちと一緒に本場のハロウィンを体験しました
子どもも大人も本気です（笑）1か月以上前から、家の外観はお化け屋敷のように変わります👻
各家庭ごとにコンセプトもあり、散歩がてらに住宅街を歩ていても楽しいです。
まるで、ゴーストタウン化にしたかのようです（笑）
現地で本場のハロウィンを体験するのもおすすめです！日本とは、全く異なり可愛さより恐怖が満載でした！

Autumn in Japan is the Best Season. You probably already know that autumn is the season to watch the leaves change color and enjoy Halloween.
But in Japan, autumn is the best season for many things. My Japanese friend said that autumn is the best season for eating. He said Japan has a lot of seasonal delicious food in the fall. Like what I did last weekend, me and my Japanese friend went to a restaurant because he wanted me to experience the taste of autumn.
First, I ate Seared Bonito is called ‘katsuo no tataki’ (鰹のたたき, pounded bonito). ‘Katsuo’ (鰹) is bonito and ‘tataki’ (たたき) means pounding in Japanese. But he said these days if the fillet is seared and served as slices, the dish is called ‘tataki’ even without pounding it. He told me that Katsuo no tataki is now considered to be the local specialty of Kōchi prefecture. And when I researched Kochi. Kōchi prefecture is famous for the angling fishing of bonito for commercial supply. When the fish is caught using a fishing rod instead of using nets, the stress level of the fish is much lower and thus, the quality of the fish is better that’s why it is delicious.
Second, I ate the Salt-grilled sweet fish. A sweetfish is a river fish that is the most famous in Japan. I`m not a fan or I don`t eat river fish but this one is the best. The sweetfish bone is soft, it can all eat every bone and can taste the sweetness and creaminess of the fish.
Lastly, I ate salt-fried ginkgo nuts. It`s a weird feeling that I ate Ginkgo nuts because I have never eaten this kind of nut before. It makes me wonder how this kind of nut tastes delicious because the leaves of the ginkgo tree are smelly and it`s like stinky cheese odor. But to sum it up, the taste of Autumn is the best to experience and gives me good appetite. Autumn fills my belly.

すっかり秋めいた気候になり、朝晩の冷え込みが厳しくなりました。
皆さん風邪をひかないように気を付けましょう。
そんなわけで、お散歩中にも、秋の花をたくさん見つけました。
こちらはあるお宅の庭先に咲いていました。
綺麗な朝顔ですね！
と手入れをされていた住人の女性に声をかけたら、朝顔ではなく昼顔だということでした。
昼顔は英語で ⇒ a convolvulus と言います。
昼顔と言うとどちらかと言えば雑草的なイメージで、こんなに綺麗にお庭に咲いているのは初めて見ました。

秋のお花の代表、秋桜と書いてコスモスと読む！ですね。
コスモスは英語で ⇒ a cosmos そのまんまですね！
フワフワ浮いているようなこの可憐な佇まい。
秋の風にユラユラと揺れていました。
お次は、
サルビアです。
サルビアは英語で ⇒ a salvia です。
子どもの頃よく、このラッパ状の部分についている蜜を吸って遊びました。
あの味、今でも覚えています。
続いて、
こちらは、シュウメイギク（秋明菊）です。
コスモスと同じく秋を代表するお花です。
シュウメイギクは英語で ⇒ anemone hupehensis です。
キクと命名されていますが、キクの仲間ではなくアネモネの仲間だそうです。
可愛いお花ですね！
最後はこちら、
ケイトウと言う花だそうです。
鶏のトサカに似ていることから鶏頭 ⇒ ケイトウとなったそうです。
ケイトウは英語で ⇒ cockscomb（雄鶏のトサカ）と言うそうです。
日本語と同じですが、どちらが先なのでしょうか？
花を愛でる良い季節になりました。

だんだん肌寒くなってきましたね。
そんな時期に飲みたくなるのが、Hot Chocolateです
先日、たまたま歩いているとHot Chocolateの看板を見つけました！
引き寄せられるようにお店に入ってました（笑）
お店の名前は、【KEN's Cafe Tokyo】です。ショコロブのホットチョコレートをいただきました。
カカオの％は2種類あり、私は甘すぎるのが苦手なので濃いほう（％が高いほう）にしました！
苦さと甘さが程よくて、私がカナダのトロントで働いていたチョコレート専門店の味を思い出しました～
当時は、休憩中に1杯すきなドリンクを飲めるのでほぼ毎回『ホットチョコレートwith オーツミルク』『ホットチョコレートwithソイミルク』のどちらかを頼んでいました。
あの味が、恋しいです。。。友達が住んでいるのでまた、必ず旅行でトロントに行く予定です🥰
もうそろそろ、海外旅行もできそうですかね！？ とりあえず海外のどこかに行きたい（笑）

Autumn is one of the best season to visit in Japan. I live in Miyagi for three years and I can`t wait to see the city dyed in hues of red, orange and yellow. The humidity and heat of the summer give way to more temperate weather where strolling the streets through the day no longer leaves you feeling like you’ve just hit the gym or stayed in a hot oven.
The weather of autumn is perfect for me. Temperatures finally dropped and settled comfortably in the low 20`C. Unlike many places in the west where the arrival of autumn immediately means long coats, gloves, and thick jackets, in Japan, autumn starts off as sweater weather and stays relatively warm until about mid-November. It’s the perfect weather to explore the city or province on foot, buy some quirky fall clothing and people tends to be more fashionable.
This picture was taken last year in Geibikei gorge. The 2-kilometer gorge is said to offer endless spectacular scenery throughout the year, with or without the sun. Luckily, I was there during one of Geibikei’s most colorful season, Autumn. And yes, from the moment we left the jetty, the skillful skipper paddled gracefully for a 90-minute of slow and gentle cruise along soaring rocky cliffs to take us safely into landing, it turned out to be one of the best time in Japan for me.
I cant wait what this year`s autumn can offer me. Let`s just say can we skip to the good part and go directly where you can smell the peak of autumn and see the leaves fall. Let`s enjoy this season.

初めてボルダリングに挑戦しました
いろんなレベルのコースがあって、1０級から１級まであります
級が上がるごとに難しくなって、どうやったら攻略できるか考えたり自分の限界に挑戦してみたりとても楽しかったです
私は１０級から初めて7級まで行けたのですが6級は難しかったです
まだまだ筋力が追いつかないので、筋トレと減量して次は6級がクリアできるように頑張りたいです
小学2年生くらいの女の子たちがやっていて、5級もすいすいやっていたり高い所でもスパイダーマンのように移動していてとてもすごかったです
ぜひSTARRYの小学生の子達にもチャレンジしてみてほしいなと思いました

両手でゴールをつかんだら成功です
