Hello everyone in STARRY LAND...It's me Travis sensei
HOW'S IT GOING Have you all had the chance to look at the 2018 Summer Camp video
I was looking at my old pictures again and saw some cool ones. The pictures are when I spent 2 years in Thailand volunteering with a Burmese NGO for Burmese tsunami orphans and separated children. It was a great time in my life. Many of the orphans got adopted and most of the separated children were reunited with there families due to our NGOs hard work and dedication to the children.
Here is a picture of me teaching in a bamboo learning center. NOTICE ALL THE SMILES .
These two pictures are of a learning center we built with concrete in a sea side town.
NOTICE ALL THE SMILES .
This is a picture of our Burmese nursery. They are holding up toys I had sent to me from my friends in Japan.
This is a picture of us playing English games outside of one of our learning centers.
This is another picture of a bamboo learning center we made in the jungle. The children are holding up donated learning materials and toys from some European donors. They came to donate in the devastated area and found me. They asked me if they could follow me to my classes one day and then made a bunch of donations to the children and me because I was supporting the children.
This is a picture of me teaching English to the Burmese NGO staff members.
Hope you enjoyed my stories...I love volunteering. I also volunteer every week here in Sendai. Try it...it's FUN and helps our community.
Much Love to you all....Travis sensei
