今日は幾分涼しいものの
こう暑い日が毎日続くと、今日が七夕だということを忘れていました。
少なくとも私の家の周りでは
笹に短冊
を見かけていません。
売っていそうな店もありません。
これも時代の流れなのでしょうか？
人目を気にせずに花火ができる場所もないし
都心に住むのも一長一短ありますね。

Today on 7th. July is the day of "Star festival" called in Japanese "Tanabata".
This is an event originating from a Chinese legend, in which people present their wishes to the stars.
In my childhood, people used to write their wish to decoate them on bamboo trees,which were specified tradition on that day.
Honestly said, I miss such a cultural aspect,although we haven't often seen now a days in Tokyo....
