第二次世界大戦時にフライトクルーやメカニックが、着用しておりましたキャップで、鍔が長いのが特徴の一つで
機体の離着陸やメカニック作業中に太陽から目を守る為の機能美デザインになります。
よくナイジェル氏などは、長い鍔を織り上げて被っているのを、よく見かけますね。
