On June 27, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz revealed to have requested the E.U. financial support to a country accepting largest number of refugees from Ukraine.
He requested so with leaders of Poland and Czech Republic.
He said so to reporters in Brussels, where an E.U. summit was being held.

The government has been providing unemployment benefits, but their employment rate is low. The opposition party(s) therefore criticize that, saying, "The refugees must either work or return to safe areas in western Ukraine."
Scholz hopes to obtain financial assistance from the EU in order to alleviate public discontent.
