関係副詞を使う時、関係副詞か先行詞のどちらかが省略されることがあります。

「how」の場合はちょっと特殊です。
先行詞が「the way」の場合、「the way」か「how」のどちらかを必ず省略しなければなりません。

（私はこうやってその事実を見つけました。）
または This is the way I found the fact.
「今日の例文」は、主語の部分が「The way these cats walk together」となっています。
これは「How these cats walk together」と書き換えることもできます。
