I got two friends today! One is from Korea and the other is from China. They are the 1st year of Graduate school and majoring in computer science. I spent much time with Korean girl exploring campus, shopping grocery, having dinner, and watching TV. She looks elder than her age. She is younger than me by 9! But I think I can be a good friend of her. Friends are really important!

In english we say that "we made a friend"
and went "grocery shopping". Also "the Korean girl" and "9 years younger". These are easy mistakes to make as some of them are natural expressions. The good thing is that I understood it very easily which means that you communicate well in English. The 100% accuracy will come after time speaking English. Good work and keep smiling.

Well you know me, and to be honest, if I have friends, then good, and if I don`t, then good!
I never worry about things like this because I have lived in many nations. Also, my northern English cultural ways are based on my background - and we are always confident and I always feel relaxed irrespective if by myself, or if I am popular.
Of course it is nice to know people and I am pleased that you have met nice people.
