The buzz is all over social media Instagram and TikTok. The buzz I was talking about is the new bakery in downtown Sendai, The City Bakery. I went there last Monday because I was curious about this newly opened bakery and coffee shop. I`ve tasted the cookies that were given by my friend and it was recommended by our teacher, James. They said I should check them out because their baked breads and sweets are very delicious. However, they warned me that I should not go around rush time like the opening hours and 17:00 the lines were crazy, you need to wait around 20 minutes or more. Around 11:00 to 16:00 is the best time to go and sit on their comfy sofa to relax and drink a hot cup of coffee.
I followed their heads up that should go on their downtime. I went there around 15:00 and it was true, that the shop could accommodate customers who wanted to sit and relax. That`s why I ordered a cookie and a hot cup of coffee sat down on their comfy sofa and enjoyed the experience. I will rate their bread and pastries 8/10. I think The City Bakery is way better than any other international coffee shop brand since these brands were already commercialized.
