The cozy embrace of the remaining days of autumn season saying goodbye.
Mid-autumn is the best time to camp and relax. I tried camping during the spring and summer seasons. Summer camping is my least favorite because of the hot weather and insects. Autumn camping is the best season for camping because of the weather and the ambiance you will witness as the vibrant green leaves transform into a spectacular shade of red, orange, and yellow hues.
I went camping at Kamiwarisaki Campground in Minami-Sanriku. Of all the solo camps I did, this camp is memorable because I am one with the four elements of nature. The campsite is an elevated plain (flat land) with towering trees and bouldering rocks, and the best part is that it is beside the ocean. The ocean breeze in the morning and afternoon makes the weather cooler, but as the sun sets down, the weather becomes cold.
Since it was a solo camp, putting up a tent was difficult because I was alone. It took me an hour to build my tarp and tent and make it sturdier. After I built my tent and put all the necessary things I needed for camping, I took a rest and made a hot coffee.
When the sun set, I started to make my dinner and the best part of my camping experience was the campsite had electricity. That’s why I brought my rice cooker 
. I also prepared a pork and chicken BBQ together with garlic butter corn seafood. I lit up my bonfire put some charcoals and started to grill.
After eating my dinner, I opened a can of whisky and enjoyed the night with my bonfire. When I finished drinking and all the camper's tents turned their lights off, I headed over to the shower area to have a bath. Sleeping was cozy and comfortable because I brought my electric heater blanket.
It`s already 8 AM it`s time for me to start packing my things up because the checkout is 11 AM. After packing all my things, I made a hot coffee to start my day and wrap up my camping adventure. Before going back home, I roamed around the area and took some pictures of the ocean view because it was so beautiful.
Solo camping leaves you feeling rested and renewed, and might even help you destress and learn new ways of dealing with stress or anxiety in everyday life. Out in nature, there are no conventional worries; just beautiful scenery, the smell of fresh air, and the warmth of a campfire.
