Last weekend, I went camping solo in Izumi Peak Base and I was scared.
But I really wanted to do it because the more I get out of my comfort zone, the bigger the adventure becomes. That`s why before deciding to go on a camping trip I bought some gear that I needed to survive my first solo camp adventure.
It`s funny how my solo camping started because building a tent took me an hour. Just to make it short I don`t know where to start. All I know is I do have all the gear for camping. After building a tent I set up my burner because I want to sip a hot coffee in the afternoon because the weather that day is cool and good for a hot coffee. And before the dawn breaks I bought some wood to burn for my campfire and I used my new Takibidai. Takiibidai is my best buy. It`s very useful because you can use it as a bonfire and also for grilling. While waiting for the wood to burn and become coal I prepared my meats to grill for my dinner.
I love sharing my experiences, but I feel it so much deeper when I’m alone.
The best part about going on a solo adventure is that you don’t have to wait around for other people’s schedules. If you’ve got a free night or a weekend you can just run off.
