“Wow!” Ruby opened her arms and breathed deeply. Spread out in front of the three was a beautiful, emerald–green ocean. Away to the side, they saw a rich forest, and the dark blue shadow of a mountain range in the distance. The birdsong and sea breeze were comfortable enough for them to relax. “This must be Esperanza!” said Ruby. When the three reached a small, beach-side cottage, the sun was already setting in the horizon, the sky shining in a quiet, yellowish red.
