10月16日生まれ。 お誕生日おめでとう！

アルバム Continuumが９月に発売され、ここ一ヶ月くらい新聞やウェブで多数紹介されていました。

私が聞き始めたのは "No Such Thing,"や "Your Body Is A Wonderland," がヒットしてしていた頃だったので2001年の頃？

こちらのテレビでコンサートも放映されていました。

小田原の高校に留学していたそうです 日本語がしゃべれるグラミー受賞者と思っていたところ.....

今回Sonymusicのウェブサイトなどを読んでみると....留学といっても交換留学で２週間だけのホームステイだったそうです。 伊勢原市の向上高校-Kojo Boys School。 (Matthew McConaugheyが豪州に留学していた、くらいインパクトのある話題？)

彼がはじめて来日したときは、高校のとき日本語で書いた泣ける手紙、というのが女性週刊誌で公開されたそうです。 一生懸命書いた日本語という意味で泣ける手紙だったのでしょうね。

一番難しかった日本語は「ドウゾヨロシクオネガイシマス」だそうです。

ソニーミュージックの来日おっかけ写真(2003年12月)は笑えました。

ビックカメラにグラミー賞受賞のミュージシャンがいるのに、ノーマーク！！ 隣の作業服風な青いジャケットにビックカメラの紙袋の人、何も気付いてないですね。 私もこうやって見逃している芸能人が沢山(豪日どちらにも）いるのかもしれない。

10年ぶりの高校の同窓会.....男の子だったら、開き戸をば～んと開けて、みんなの前に姿を現したいという願望、日米共通な点もあるかもしれないですね。

11月1日現在、豪州ツーア中。 Rove Live、Sunriseなど朝の番組から夜のバラエティ番組までいろんな番組にでています。


先日、自分の本棚から本を取り出していたら一冊本が床におちたのです。 ジョンレノンの写真集。 ぱらぱらとめくっていると、その二日後くらいの10月９日が彼の誕生日ではありませんか。 遅ればせながらジョンレノンにもお誕生日おめでとう!とmsg。
