Translation; Chinese language subtitle for "Kimchi" was "raapaatsai," S. Korean netizens therefore demanded Netflix to correct -- media outlet in Hong Kong

On July 4, media outlet in Hong Kong, "Sing Tao Net," reported that S. Korean netizens voiced to correct the Chinese subtitles for "kimchi" that appeared on a Netflix variety program.
The problem is that, in a scene the cast members were talking about kimchi in episode-6 of "Super Rich! The Millionaires Who Came to Korea," the Chinese langugae subtitle of "raapaatsai," a Chinese pickle, was attached. The article explained, "Kimchi, Korea's national dish, was translated as 'raapaatsai' with Chinese characteristics, and caused a stir. S. Korean netizens request Netflix to correct that promptly."

In July 2021, S. Korean Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism decided to change the Chinese language expression of "kimchi" from "pow-tsai" to "Shinchi" to differentiate it from the Chinese pickle "pow-tsai."
According to the article, a S. Korean expert allegedly pointed out that "China is constantly promoting [raapaatsai]," and showed a view that the case this time leaded to encourage momentum of 'raapaatsai,' while affecting kimchi's international status.
