4日半の連休が終わり、今日から仕事再開です
しかし病院のインターネットは先週の火曜日からまったくつながらず、仕事にかなり支障をきたすので、事務局長に相談しました
病院全体のネットワークの問題化と思っていましたが、どうやら保健省全部のようです
インターネット・サービス・プロバイダーのソロモン・テレコムという会社の問題だとかで、復旧がいつになるかもわからない状況です
ソロモンでの私の仕事の集大成として、ワークショップをおこないたいのですが、予算がまだ確定せず、仕方ないので金のかからない方法でできないかと思い、メールが使えないので病院の看護部長室を直接訪ねました
3名の高位ナースに面会し事情を話すと、いい企画なので是非やってくれということで、日程や会場手配、出席者のとりまとめまで全部看護部でやってくれるということでした
こんなことなら、もっと早く訪ねればよかったと後悔したところです
しかし帰国間際まで忙しくなりそうな予感です
The 4.5 consecutive day holiday had finished and I went back to work today.
However the internet connection in the office was still not working since Tuesday last week and it had been making hitch on my job.
I asked to the hospital secretary general to resolve it.
I had thought that the reason was the hospital network problem but it was not only the hospital but also whole ministry of health.
It was the problem of the internet service provider TELEKOM and it was still not clear that when it will be restored.
I had been thinking to have the workshop for the nurses as the compilation of my job in Solomon Islands.
I couldn’t use the e-mail then I visited to the nursing division directly to see the top management of the nurses.
I met three executive nurses and told them that we submitted the budget for the workshop but the budget for the new fiscal year was still not clear and I wanted to have it without any money.
They agreed on my opinion and promised to arrange all of the date, venue, attendants and announcement by themselves.
If I could visit there it must be the best way.
By the way I will be busy at just before finish my term.
