Hideki Matsui 

Making his debut for Japan's Yomiuri Giants in 1993, Matsui quickly ascended to the nation's pantheon of baseball greats, hitting 332 home runs in 10 seasons and leading the club to three titles. Controversially, he followed that success by signing with the Yankees as a free agent, where he helped them return to the World Series in 2003 and winning the series' MVP in 2009.

 

後世に２００９年のワールドシリーズのＭＶＰとして名を残す。
