LeBron, if you truly believe what you say, then immediately donate at least half of your astronomical annual income to the poor Black community.
I used to watch NHK’s Sunday Sports without fail, but just like with Watch 9, I’ve almost stopped watching it entirely.
Last night, I tuned in because I wanted to check the women’s golf results (as it’s the earliest program to report sports results).
At some point, I was so disgusted by their manipulative reporting that I changed the channel immediately.
There is no doubt in my mind that one of the people currently controlling NHK’s news division is Ōkoshi.
Ōkoshi and Azumi Jun, the disgrace of Miyagi Prefecture and a member of the Constitutional Democratic Party, joined NHK almost the same year and are old friends, with Arima being three years their junior.
This line now controls NHK’s news division.
Its awfulness is exactly as I have described before.
Ōkoshi is the man who, while hosting Watch 9, stated definitively that “Japan forcibly took Koreans” and was dismissed for it.
He also once broadcast the truly idiotic statement that he “sincerely respects Kang Sang-jung.”
The reason he was dismissed was likely because the NHK president at the time, Momii, actually had a sane sense of what Japan’s public broadcaster should be.
It was precisely because of this that Momii was constantly attacked in the Diet by foolish opposition politicians.
Momii’s flaw was that he took these foolish opposition politicians seriously and confronted them in a combative manner, creating an atmosphere of “a lotus flower should bloom in the wild.”
He confronted the opposition’s attacks with anger.
In doing so, he was essentially pouring fuel on their fire.
Being a typical Hakata native with a straightforward and impulsive personality, he lacked the skill to dodge the foolish opposition’s attacks.
He even created that “lotus in the wild” mood among the ruling party.
That is how he lost support and was replaced by Maeda.
Ōkoshi’s comeback and de facto behind-the-scenes control is the current reality of NHK’s news division.
There was a female announcer from Aomori who handled sports on Saturdays and Sundays, and I used to think she was quite good, but now even that has greatly faded.
I believe Ōkoshi is a disgrace to the people of Tōhoku.
He hides behind the facade of Tōhoku’s simplicity while concealing a mind shaped by reading the Asahi Shimbun—one filled with a masochistic view of history, anti-Japanese ideology, pseudo-moralism, and pro-China, pro-Korea sentiments.
In other words, he is the worst kind of villain.
Last night, I switched the channel immediately when, as soon as a certain feature began, they aired a flip showing LeBron James saying, “Why doesn’t this country love us?” (I have no idea in what context this was said).
It was the pinnacle of pseudo-moralism, rivaling the Hollywood celebrities who take exorbitant appearance fees.
LeBron, if America truly does not love you,
America would not be paying you an astronomical salary that you could never spend in a hundred lifetimes.
On the contrary, you would have been forced to work to the bone on a meager wage.
America would never have treated you like a hero on par with Michael Jordan.
Back when I was a golf fanatic, I once ran into Michael Jordan at Kapalua in Maui—he played the 18 holes in the group right ahead of mine.
An exceptional group of five skilled white golfers joined him, and they played together as a rare six-person group.
Anyone who loves golf knows it was common knowledge that Jordan displayed his natural talent even in golf.
He was a hero among heroes.
