アイズナー賞2019

今年も開催されているアメリカ最大のコミックコンベンション、
サンディエゴコミックコンベンション（SDCC）。 
そしてそこで発表されるのが、アメリカのコミック業界で優れた作品やクリエイターに与えられる
アイズナー賞（Eisner Award）でございます。

The Bob Clampett Humanitarian Award 
人道的な活動に与えられる賞。

Edgardo Miranda-Rodriguez（プエルトリコ人のためのヒーローを生み出す）と
Tula Lotayが受賞。

The Will Eisner Hall of Fame コミックの殿堂。 
アイズナー賞運営側のチョイスがJim Aparo, June Tarpé Mills, Dave Stevens, Morrie Turner。
投票者のチョイスがJose Luis Garcia-Lopez, Jennete Kahn, Paul Levitz, Wendy and Richard Pini,Bill Sienkiewiczとなりました。

一昨年は「サーガ」、昨年は「モンストレス」イヤーでしたが、
今年はトム・キングが4冠達成。作品としては「ミスター・ミラクル」が強かったですね。
「バットマン」（予定より短縮、トム・キングのストーリーの完結編は「バットマン＆キャットウーマン」としてリミテッドシリーズに移行）でのみ受賞できなかったが少し痛いところ、かも。
（読者からの評価は高いし、邦訳も刊行再開したのですが・・・）

そして今年も日本漫画が2部門で受賞しているわりには日本の漫画情報系メディアは動かず。
（受賞は逃したけど「ゆるキャン△」ノミネートはわりと事件だと思うんだけどなぁ）
まぁ、大きすぎるニュースがあったばかりなので仕方ないとは言えますが・・・。

あー、「ミスター・ミラクル」と「ヴィジョン」邦訳出ないかなー！！
