８日と９日は一泊で箱根に、長年の友と旅行に行きました。この時期には珍しく雪の寒い一日でした。ポーラ美術館で大半の時間を費やし、夕食５時の予約に間に合うように帰りました。ホテルの箱根離宮ではロビーで暖炉が炊かれていてほっとした気持ちになりました。
翌日は晴れましたが寒い一日で、それでも大涌や芦ノ湖を楽しみました。行くところどこも外人観光客の多さにここは外国ではないかと錯覚をおこすほどでした。
桜やほうき桃 連翹 石楠花などあちこちに咲いていてとてもきれいでした。
Last April 8th and 9th, I went on an overnight trip to Hakone with my friends.
It was snowing on our first day. After visiting the museum we went to the hotel where we found a burning fire place. It gave us a very nice warm feeling.
It was very cold on the second day but we enjoyed the scenery of the mountain range.
I had been very busy this week. I had to go to the clinic for my rheumatoid arthritis and thyroid gland issues. Nothing serious, just a regular check-up.
We were planning to go to Charle last Saturday, but it was rainy. So instead I could see the flower arrangement exhibition where I was invited.
It was marvelous!
