久しぶりに朝活です！
カナダ
にいたときは、6時や7時からオープンしている個人経営のおしゃれなカフェがたくさんあり
しょっちゅうしていましたが、朝早くからあいてるカフェって日本は少ない気がします
今回はコメダでMorninng cafeをしてきました
正直、Tea派の私ですが（笑）
ミルクコーヒー（加糖）は私でも飲めて、美味しかったです！
オーツミルクが好きなのですが、まだまだ日本では見かけないですね
おすすめのカフェがありましたら、教えてください

During the Japanese summer months, I often think about my trip to Okinawa around 15 years ago. That's because it usually feels like summer in Okinawa, even if the calendar says it's actually winter!
When I visited Okinawa in was February 2006, I was surprised that the ocean water was still OK for swimming. Most days were sunny and warm there. Okinawa has nice weather all year round, since it is subtropical (亜熱帯). People can enjoy ice cream every day in Okinawa. I had some mango ice cream, which is very popular there. Another food I ate was taco rice. Mexican food is my favorite, so I love tacos!! Taco rice is almost the same, except we don't put the rice and vegetables and meat in a shell. We just mix it all together and eat it on our plate.
Yum! This year is a special year for Okinawa, by the way. The capital of the prefecture is Naha, and 2021 is the 100th birthday of that city. Actually, Naha has been around for a long time. It was the center of the Ryukyu Kingdom for hundreds of years. But modern Naha is much different these days. It was founded in 1921 and it became a very international place after the United States established some military bases in Okinawa. Here is a photo of Kokusai-dori (国際通り) in Naha:
There are often a lot of Americans walking on this street. You can also see beautiful palm trees there, because of the warm weather. But my favorite thing about Okinawa when I visited it was the friendly people!! They always seemed to be smiling and they looked very happy whenever someone came from far away to see their wonderful island. I want to go there again someday.

気仙沼方面にドライブに行ってきました。アンカーコーヒーマザーポートというおしゃれなカフェもあり立ち寄りました
最近開通された、三陸道も通ってみました。海が一望出来てきれいでした
先日、リニューアルされた道の駅 大谷海岸にもいってきました！
海を眺められるテラスもついていて、素敵でした！
採りたての新鮮な魚介類が売ってあり、レストランではおいしい魚介類のメニューが食べれるようです！
私は、1日20食限定のうに丼を食べてきました！くせもなく旬なのでとてもおいしかってです
ランチの後に祖父母から電話があり、殻ウニをもらったから食べにおいで！と…（笑）
まさかの夕飯も、うに丼と殻うにとなりました（笑）
旬のものは、おいしいですね。
贅沢な悩みですが、当分うには大丈夫そうです💦

梅雨空が広がり、もうすぐ夏ということを忘れてしまいそうですが、
夏はもうすぐそこまで来ていますね。
さて、スターリーの夏のイベントですが、来週からお知らせを配布いたしますので、
ご確認の上、７月２０日（火）～７月２４日（土）までの間に申し込んで下さい。
定員になりしだい〆切となりますので、お早めに！
どんな内容か、少しご紹介しますね。
８月４日（水）幼稚園と１年生対象
”カラー”で遊ぶよ！また、みんなでオリジナルサコッシュを作成するよ。
お家では、絶対にダメ！って言わるようなことを思い切りやっちゃうよ！
８月５日（木）２、３年生対象
”スライム”で遊ぶよ！でもいつものスライムとは違うよ。
色々な材料を混ぜて、一度触ったらず～っと触り続けていたい。そんなスライムを作ります。
実験しながらみんなのオリジナルレシピも作成するよ。
８月６日（金）４、５，６年生対象
小さな空間に広がる不思議な世界を発光ダイオードを使って創り出します。
どんな世界が広がるかは、作ってみてのお楽しみ。
ということで、こちらは光で遊ぶよ。

Hello, everyone! I hope you are enjoying your summer so far. As you know, I am from Canada. I've lived most of my life there. I've also lived in both America and Japan. Besides these 3 countries where I've lived, I've visited 2 other countries so far. One of them (South Korea), I talked about a bit when I introduced Pucca in my first blog at Starry. Pucca is Korean. The other country I've been to is England.
Of all the places I've been, I think that England is the most similar to Japan. It's part of the U.K. (United Kingdom), and it's considered an island country. Just like Japan is an island that is influenced by the mainland countries of Asia (such as China), England is influenced by the mainland countries of Europe (such as France). I visited England for 2 or 3 weeks around Christmas time in 2003. I stayed in a city close to London, which is the capital of England. I had a friend who was from Reading, and so I decided to stay there because it was an easy train ride to go from Reading to London whenever I wanted to see some famous London tourist attractions. But my best memory of England was when I went to see "Stonehenge".
Reading is about 40 miles from Stonehenge. Have you ever heard about this place?? It's a collection of very large stones which are standing up in a field of grass. Some stones are lying on top of other stones. It is believed that Stonehenge was made thousands of years ago. The stones were placed in a special way that points to where the sun rises on summer solstice (夏至). It was very difficult to put the stones like that, and they were moved there from far away. So, some people think that aliens (宇宙人) made Stonehenge.
Sometimes crop circles (which are called "mystery circles" in Japanese) appear next to Stonehenge. And a few years ago (in 2017), some scientists were studying a crop circle near Stonehenge when they saw a strange person watching them from far away. The person looked tall and thin. He didn't move for a long time. The scientists were able to take a photo of that person, and then suddenly he disappeared after they moved their camera to look at other things. Do you think it was an alien?? Maybe he came to see Stonehenge and make sure the stones were still standing up! 👽
