A組の様子と作品です。

交流活動をしました。

交流活動で寄せられたコメントを幾つか紹介します。

 

I.H.の作品　『原っぱの上のたんぽぽビル』

　一生懸命に手を伸ばしていく頑張り屋さんのたんぽぽに見え

ます。

とても色合いが良くて、いろんな形でできているから、強くそう

思いました。

T.K.さんの作品　『遊べるマンション』

Tさんのマンションはアトラクションタワーのようだね。

とてもギザギザやフニャフニャが目立って素敵だと思います。

窓のようなところが上手ですね。窓から向こう側が見えるの

がとても素敵です。

C組の様子です。

ハサミで切り込みを入れて折ることでいろんな形の窓ができます。

それは単なる窓ではなく模様に見えることもあります。

単純な形の繰り返しでも美しい効果があることに気づきました。

どうすればきれいな模様になるか試行錯誤を繰り返します。

 

練習の時間が終わりました。

次はいよいよ色画用紙で本番です！

集中して作業が進みます。

さあどんなカタチが出来上がるのでしょうか。

次回のお楽しみです。

 

Pottery Challenge! (Grade 2)

The work from Class B.

We are using clay for the first time.

There were screams here and there as the girls felt the sensation of the clay.

We are using creamy white clay"SETO KANNYU".

 Finally we start making things.

We are using newspaper instead of a potter’s wheel.

We use our hands to turn the clay when we want to.

I want the students to make their own work when they start to feel the shape.

I explained 3 techniques…

①   pinch

②   extend

③   dent

 Imagine the shape that you want to make.

Just 3 techniques!! You can make surprisingly many things.

The children thought about what to make and made many things.

A bowl for people who like dents!
