It is very quiet when the students concentrate on their work.
Using all the colours in the palette we can make subtle shades.
The same landscape can be drawn in different ways depending on the expression of the artist.
This year’s Grade 5s drew Josui Street with many colours.

I will introduce some of the brush techniques.
Pieta’s bricks. We can see the different colour bricks with the colours overlapping slightly.
The brush work shows the colour of the sky is not uniform. I feel there is a pale cloud.
It is beautiful to see how the colur changes from how the brush is used.

We worked hard for 10 minutes preparing our work.
You can see their enthusiasm by how they lean forward.
They worked to complete their own representation, and some people came after school to finish.
