Work from class A

A drawing of Pieta, and over there behind it the Josui Street church.

I can feel the light from how it is drawn.

A drawing of the “Primrose” boutique.

By using bright colours the presence of the building has been highlighted.

A drawing of Josui Street church.

A good representation of the smooth sides and height of the building, you can feel the sense of volume.

Work from class C

We haven’t added colour yet.

Above the images is a comment from the teacher about the work.

A drawing of the “Marji Orchid” shop.

The title “A florist’s dream” is attached to the work. I can feel the strength of the brick-work from the picture.

The museum of the bishop.

It is a quiet white building surrounded by tress.

You have put together the shape of the rain gutter pipe and beautiful tiled window very well.

A drawing of “Noir” beauty salon.

You have drawn the patterns and shapes of all the different things with clean lines.

Students from class A.

It is very quiet when the students concentrate on their work.

Using all the colours in the palette we can make subtle shades.

The same landscape can be drawn in different ways depending on the expression of the artist.

This year’s Grade 5s drew Josui Street with many colours.

Good luck, and try your best with the remaining time.

Students from Class B.

I will introduce some of the brush techniques.

Pieta’s bricks. We can see the different colour bricks with the colours overlapping slightly.

The brush work shows the colour of the sky is not uniform. I feel there is a pale cloud.

It is beautiful to see how the colur changes from how the brush is used.

Everyone has worked hard on their work.
