Translation; Taking off and landing by fighters and helicopters were confirmed and Air SDF fighter jets scrambled = four Chinese PLA Navy vessels including aircraft carrier "Shandong" conducted activities in the Pacific Ocean

> 防衛省統合幕僚監部は９日、沖縄県・宮古島の南東約 520キロの太平洋上で、中国海軍の空母「山東」など計４隻が航行しているのを確認したと発表した。
> 艦載の戦闘機やヘリコプターが複数回発着艦したとしている。
On July 9, the Joint Staff Office of the MoD released that totally 4 vessels, including Chinese PLA Navy aircraft carrier "Shandong," sailed in the Pacific Ocean around 520km southeast of Miyako Island in Okinawa Pref.
It explained that carrier based fighters and helicopters took off and landed plural times.

According to the MoD, the sailing of the four vessels was confirmed at around 7:00 am on July 9.
(* Murasame-class) destroyer JS Akebono (DD-108) monitored them, and fighter jets of the Japan Air SDF scrambled to address in response to taking off and landing of the fighters.
It was for the 1st time in April last year and tt's the 4th time that the MoD confirmed and released activities by the "Shandong" in the Pacific Ocean.
