梅さんが完熟しました The plum tree ripened into full maturity.

　梅さんが、収穫の時期を迎えております。
The plum tree faces the harvest time.



昨日は、梅雨の晴れ間でした。
完熟して、落ち始めておりました。
It was a patch of blue sky of the rainy season yesterday. Fruits which ripened into full maturity began to drop.



今年は、豊作のようです。
It is a good harvest this year.



枝を四方に広げる、梅の巨木さんを見上げました。
I looked up at the gigantic tree of the plum tree that expanded the branch to all sides.



枝がアジサイの上にも伸びて、実を落としております。
The branch grows on the hydrangea, and fruits have fallen.



ある農家さんのお庭の中心に、巨木さんは生き続けております。
そして、今もなお、ご当家では、自家用の梅干をこしらえます。
The gigantic tree of this plum tree keeps being effective at the center of a certain barton.
And, private pickled plums are still produced in this house.



完熟して自然に落ちたものを、拾い集めます。
たんねんに洗い清めて、塩漬けに。
さらに、炎天下で干して、梅干さんのご誕生です。
They ripen into full maturity, and glean fruits who fell naturally.
They become salting, and ferment after it is politely washed.
In addition, they are dried under hot weather, and pickled plums are born.



一粒の梅干とは、小さいですが、まことに酸っぱい。
その強烈な酸味が、さまざまな苦境から、人々を救済してまいりました。
梅干さんは、日本の発酵食文化における、傑作でざいます。
It is very sour though one pickled plum is small.
The strong acidity has relieved people because of various predicaments.
The pickled plum is a masterpiece of the fermentation food culture of Japan.



梅の巨木は、祖先の生き方を伝えます。
一層懸命に働き、熱心に工夫する自給自足の生活。
心より、感謝いたしました。
The gigantic tree of the plum tree tells ancestor's way of life.
They worked harder, and continued the self sufficient life ardently devised.
